In order to show an antique sense of beauty, bamboo or wood material is the best choice for making racks and storage containers. For the characteristic of antique sense of beauty, bamboo and wooden racks and storage containers are widely invited by consumers.
- Conventionally, a bamboo or wooden rack comprises a plurality of bamboo or wooden posts and a plurality of flat bamboo or wooden panels affixed to the bamboo or wooden posts horizontally at different elevations for holding things. To affix the flat bamboo or wooden panels to the bamboo or wooden posts, screws, nails, or rivets are commonly used. According to this mounting technique, a bamboo or wooden rack can only be made in a rectangular or square shape.
- The present invention has been accomplished under the circumstances in view.
- According to one aspect of the present invention, a bamboo rack comprises a plurality of bamboo posts having a different number of phases and a plurality of flat bearing panels horizontally supported on the bamboo posts at different elevations for holding things.
- According to another aspect of the present invention, the bamboo posts include a plurality of crossed bamboo posts, angle bar-like bamboo posts and T-shaped bamboo posts. By means of the application of different combinations of the bamboo posts having a different number of phases, different racks having different configurations can be established.
- According to still another aspect of the present invention, flat locating blocks are affixed to the bamboo posts within one of a number of phases thereof at different elevations for supporting flat bearing panels at different elevations for holding things.
- Further, the flat locating blocks can be affixed to the bamboo posts with screws, or by means of tongue and groove joint/mortise and tenon joint. In one application example of the present invention, four angle bar-like bamboo posts are arranged in four corners, and bearing panels are supported on the flat locating blocks of the angle bar-like bamboo posts at different elevations for holding things.
- In another application example of the present invention, T-shaped bamboo posts are affixed to a vertical wall in a parallel manner, and bearing panels are horizontally supported on the flat locating blocks between each two adjacent T-shaped bamboo posts at different elevations for holding things.
- In still another application example of the present invention, one T-shaped bamboo post and two angle bar-like bamboo posts are affixed to a vertical wall in a parallel manner, and bearing panels are horizontally supported on the flat locating blocks of the T-shaped bamboo post and the angle bar-like bamboo posts at different elevations for holding things.
- In still another application example of the present invention, multiple angle bar-like bamboo posts and crossed bamboo posts and T-shaped bamboo posts are used with multiple bearing panels to constitute a bamboo rack for holding thins.
- Further, the flat locating blocks can be made having a rectangular or triangular shape, or any of a variety of other geometrical shapes. The foregoing object and summary provide only a brief introduction to the present invention. To fully appreciate these and other objects of the present invention as well as the invention itself, all of which will become apparent to those skilled in the art, the following detailed description of the invention and the claims should be read in conjunction with the accompanying drawings. Throughout the specification and drawings identical reference numerals refer to identical or similar parts.
- Many other advantages and features of the present invention will become manifest to those versed in the art upon making reference to the detailed description and the accompanying sheets of drawings in which a preferred structural embodiment incorporating the principles of the present invention is shown by way of illustrative example.
