Description

    BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • 1. Field of the Invention
  • The present invention relates to a wrapper for rice covered with layer that is used to wrap a lump of rice covered with layer, and more particularly, to a wrapper for rice covered with layer that can be conveniently separated from rice covered with layer at one time.
  • 2. Description of the Related Art
  • In a conventional wrapper that is used to wrap a lump of rice covered with layer, layer is interposed between two layers, that is, inner and outer layers that each have a rectangular shape and are made of a plastic material, and edges of the inner and outer layers are attached to each other. Meanwhile, a cutting band, which extends in a longitudinal direction, is provided between the inner and outer layers in order to facilitate to the cutting of the wrapper for rice covered with layer for the purpose of the eating of rice covered with layer.
  • In order to eat the rice covered with layer that is wrapped as described above, first, a step (i) of cutting the outer layer of the wrapper for rice covered with layer into left and right halves with respect to the longitudinal direction is performed by pulling a cutting band, which is provided in the middle of the wrapper for triangular rice covered with layer in a longitudinal direction, from the top to the bottom in a vertical direction on the front side of the wrapper for triangular rice covered with layer.
  • After that, if a step (ii) of separating the wrapper into left and right halves with respect to a centerline is performed by pulling the cut wrapper for rice covered with layer toward both sides, only layer and rice remain. Then, a user wraps the triangular lump of rice with layer, and eats the rice covered with layer.
  • In order to eat the rice covered with layer that is wrapped as described above, a cutting band, which is provided on the outer layer in a vertical direction, is pulled from the top to the bottom on the front side of the triangular rice covered with layer. Then, the cutting band is pulled from the bottom to the top on the rear side of the triangular rice covered with layer. Accordingly, the outer layer is cut so as to be separated into left and right halves with respect to a centerline.
  • Meanwhile, since the inner layer has a slot opened in a vertical direction at the middle portion thereof, a separate cutting operation does not need to be performed. Therefore, the outer layer and the inner layer of the wrapper are divided into left and right halves portion with respect to the centerline of the triangular rice covered with layer by pulling the cutting band that is provided on the outer layer. Then, the wrapper can be separated by pulling the wrapper toward the left and right sides.
  • However, the above-mentioned wrapper where the inner layer is cut is used to wrap triangular rice covered with layer. For this reason, there have been problems in that it is not possible to allow expiration date to be lengthened, the taste of the triangular rice covered with layer deteriorates, and layer is made moist due to vapor generated from rice.
  • In order to solve the above-mentioned problems, a wrapper has been disclosed in Korean Patent No. 495321. In the wrapper, as shown in FIG. 16, an inner layer 100 does not have a slot, and a cutting band 200 is further provided on the inner layer 100 to cut the inner layer 100 instead.
  • Accordingly, according to Korean Patent No. 495321, as shown in FIG. 17, an outer layer 300 is cut by a cutting tape 400 for separating the outer layer 300, from the top to the bottom in a vertical direction on the front side of the triangular rice covered with layer. Then, the outer layer is cut by the cutting tape from the bottom to the top in the vertical direction on the rear side of the triangular rice covered with layer (see steps (a) to (c) in FIG. 17).
  • Subsequently, like the outer layer, the inner layer 100 is cut by the cutting band 200 for separating the inner layer 100 in the vertical direction of the triangular rice covered with layer (see step (d) in FIG. 17). As a result, it is possible to cut the inner and outer layers 100 and 300 into left and right halves.
  • As described above, the cutting tape 400 for separating the outer layer 300, and the cutting tape 200 for separating the inner layer 100 are separately provided in the wrapper disclosed in Korean Patent No. 495321. For this reason, in order to completely remove the wrapper, the cutting band 200 for separating the inner layer 100 needs to be gripped again to cut the inner layer 100 after the cutting of the outer layer 300.
  • Accordingly, as compared to a step of cutting the conventional wrapper for rice covered with layer, a step (iii) of cutting the inner layer should be performed in addition to a step (i) of cutting the outer layer and a step (ii) of separating the wrapper into left and right halves. Accordingly, there has been a problem in that product competitiveness of triangular rice covered with layer pursuing convenience deteriorates due to this inconvenience.

  • DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
  • A preferred embodiment of the present invention will be described below with reference to accompanying drawings. FIG. 1 is a development perspective view of a wrapper for rice covered with layer according to an embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 2 is a development side view of the wrapper for rice covered with layer according to the embodiment of the present invention.
  • A wrapper for rice covered with layer according to an embodiment of the present invention includes an outer layer 10 that forms an outer surface of the wrapper, and an inner layer 20 that is attached to the outer layer 10 so as to cover layer K placed on the outer layer 10.
  • The inner layer 20 covers the outer layer 10 on which layer K is placed. Then, the inner peripheral portions 10 a and 20 a of the outer and inner layers 10 and 20 are sealed, so that the layer does not come in contact with external air.
  • The outer layer 10 has a substantially quadrangular shape. Further, the outer layer may be made of a plastic material so as to have the shape of a film like a conventional wrapper for triangular rice covered with layer, or may be made of any other material that can be easily broken by a cutting band.
  • A cutting band 11 is formed at the middle of the outer layer 10 so as to vertically extend downward from the upper portion of the outer layer. The cutting band 11 may be integrally formed with the outer layer 10 or may be formed of a separate element.
  • The cutting band 11 has structure known in the art, and is formed to have red color so that a user can easily discriminate the cutting band. Further, the cutting band may be made of a material stronger than the outer layer 10.
  • One or a pair of incisions 12, which corresponds to the width of the cutting band 11, is formed at the end of the outer layer 10 to which the cutting band 11 is attached, in order to facilitate the grip of the cutting band 11.
  • The inner layer 20 is composed of a first half 21 and a second half 22.
  • A first attachment portion 23, which extends in a longitudinal direction of the first half 21, is formed at the right end of the first half 21 in a transverse direction.
  • A second attachment portion 24, which extends in the longitudinal direction of the second half 22, is formed at the left end of the second half 22 in a transverse direction.
  • The second attachment portion 24 is attached to the first attachment portion 23 while being folded. Accordingly, the inner layer 20 is formed.
  • Meanwhile, the first and second attachment portions 23 and 24 include first and second protruding faces 23 a and 24 b, respectively. The widths of the first and second protruding faces are decreased toward the right sides of the first and second halves 21 and 22.
  • Each of the protruding faces has been formed in a triangular shape in this embodiment, but the present invention is not limited thereto. As long as the width of the protruding face is decreased toward the side of the first half in a transverse direction, the tooth may be formed in other shapes, such as a trapezoidal shape.
  • A procedure for forming the inner layer will be described below with reference to FIGS. 3 to 5.
  • FIG. 3 is a view illustrating a step (a) of a procedure for forming the inner layer of the wrapper for rice covered with layer according to the present invention.

Accordingly, it is possible to more easily separate the first half 21 of the inner layer 20 from the second half 22 thereof.
  • FIG. 5 is a view illustrating a step (c) of the procedure for forming the inner layer of the wrapper for rice covered with layer according to the present invention.
  • Finally, when the second attachment portion 24 of the second half 22 is attached to the first attachment portion 23 of the first half 21, the second half 22 is rotated clockwise about the first and second attachment portions 23 and 24 so as to be folded. Accordingly, the inner layer 20 is formed so that the second attachment portion 24 is attached to the first attachment portion 23 while being folded.
  • FIG. 6 is a view showing an embodiment of an attachment portion of the wrapper for rice covered with layer according to the present invention.
  • In another embodiment of the attachment portion of the present invention, the protruding faces may be formed at any one attachment portion of the first and second attachment portions.
  • That is, as shown in FIG. 6, second protruding faces 24 a may be formed only at the second attachment portion 24, and the first attachment portion 23 may be formed in a rectangular shape.
  • Meanwhile, the first and second attachment portions 23 and 24 further include sealing portions 26 that are formed at the left sides of the first and second halves 21 and 22 in a transverse direction. The sealing portions 26 are adjacent to the first and second attachment portions 23 and 24, have predetermined widths in the transverse directions of the first and second halves 21 and 22, and extend in the longitudinal directions of the first and second attachment portions 23 and 24.
  • The sealing portions 26 are further formed, so that the first and second halves 21 and 22 of the inner layer 20 have larger attachment portions due to the sealing portions 26 in addition to the first and second attachment portions 23 and 24. Therefore, it is possible to more reliably seal the wrapper for rice covered with layer.
  • FIG. 7 is a view illustrating a step (a) of a process for wrapping rice by using the wrapper for rice covered with layer according to the present invention.
  • After a lump of rice R having a triangular shape is placed on the inner layer 20 of the wrapper for rice covered with layer, a part of the wrapper is folded upward at the bottom side of the triangular lump of rice so that the upper and lower portions of the wrapper are symmetrical with each other. Therefore, the front and rear surfaces of the rice are wrapped with the wrapper.
  • FIG. 8 is a view illustrating a step (b) of a process for wrapping rice by using the wrapper for rice covered with layer according to the present invention.
  • After that, the upper and side portions of the peripheral portions of the folded outer and inner layers 10 and 20 are attached to each other by thermal bonding means or the like. Then, the upper left and right corners of the folded wrapper for rice covered with layer are folded at the other sides of the triangular lump of rice toward the rear side of the triangular lump of rice.
  • FIG. 9 is a view illustrating a step (c) of a process for wrapping rice by using the wrapper for rice covered with layer according to the present invention.
  • Finally, the folded right and left upper corners of the wrapper are attached to the outer layer 10 of the wrapper on the rear side of the lump of rice by adhesive means 30, such as an adhesive tape or a sticker, or adhesion. Therefore, the lump of rice covered with layer is completely wrapped.
  • Steps of a procedure for removing the wrapper from the rice covered with layer, which is wrapped with the wrapper according to the present invention, will be described below.
  • FIG. 10 is a view illustrating a step (a) of cutting the outer layer of the wrapper for rice covered with layer, which wraps rice covered with layer, according to the present invention.
  • First, a user grips the cutting band 11, which protrudes over the upper end of the outer layer 10.
  • FIG. 11 is a view illustrating a step (b) of cutting the outer layer of the wrapper for rice covered with layer, which wraps rice covered with layer, according to the present invention.
  • Then, the user pulls the cutting band 11 in a vertical direction from the top to the bottom on the front side of the triangular rice covered with layer. Accordingly, the portion of the outer layer 10, which corresponds to the front side of the triangular lump of rice, is cut so as to be separated into left and right halves with respect to a centerline.
  • FIG. 12 is a view illustrating a step (c) of cutting the outer layer of the wrapper for rice covered with layer, which wraps rice covered with layer, according to the present invention.
  • Finally, if the user continues to pull the cutting band 11 from the bottom to the top on the rear side of the triangular rice covered with layer through the bottom side of the triangular lump of rice, the portion of the outer layer 10 corresponding to the rear side of the triangular lump of rice is also cut so as to be separated into left and right halves with respect to a centerline. As a result, the outer layer 10 is separated into left and right halves with respect to a centerline.
  • FIG. 13 is a view illustrating a step (a) of cutting the inner layer of the wrapper for rice covered with layer, which wraps rice covered with layer, according to the present invention.
  • First, in order to tear the inner layer, a user grips the both side portions of the outer and inner layers 10 and 20 on the bottom of a triangular layer-and-rice body and pulls the both side portions of the layers toward the left and right sides.
  • FIG. 14 is a view illustrating a step (b) of cutting the inner layer of the wrapper for rice covered with layer, which wraps rice covered with layer, according to the present invention.
  • If the user continues to pull the left and right portions of the outer and inner layers 10 and 20 of the wrapper for rice covered with layer, the second attachment portion 24 of the second half 22 begins to be detached from the first attachment portion 23 of the first half 21.
  • In this case, the protruding faces 23 a and 24 a, which are formed at the first and second attachment portions 23 and 24, have the shapes of which the widths thereof are decreased toward the outer ends of the first and second halves 21 and 22 in a transverse direction. For this reason, if tension is applied to the protruding faces at the beginning to some extent, the protruding faces are separated from each other even though a large force is not applied to the protruding faces afterward. As a result, a user can easily separate the inner layer 20.
  • In this embodiment, a step (ii) of separating the wrapper into left and right halves in the related art and a step of cutting the inner layer are performed at the same time. Accordingly, even though an additional step (iii) of cutting the inner layer is not performed, it is possible to separate the wrapper for rice covered with layer.
  • FIG. 15 is a view showing that the outer and inner layers of the wrapper for rice covered with layer according to the present invention are cut from each other.
  • If the user continues to pull the left and right portions of the outer and inner layers 10 and 20 of the wrapper for rice covered with layer, the first and second halves 21 and 22 are completely separated toward the left and right sides with respect to a centerline, so that only layer and rice remain. Then, the user wraps the triangular lump of rice with layer, and eats the rice covered with layer.
  • According to the present invention, a slot is not formed at the middle of the inner layer 20 as described above. Therefore, it is possible to allow expiration date to be lengthened, the taste of the rice covered with layer does not deteriorate, and layer is made moist due to vapor generated from rice. Further, it is possible to easily cut the wrapper for rice covered with layer by performing only a step (i) of cutting the outer layer and a step (ii) of separating the wrapper.
