Abstract
A lotion applicator roll comprising two or more strips and at least one finger slit on each of the strip, wherein perforated tear lines separate the strips; wherein the strip comprises a thin flexible material; and wherein the strip is a disposable material.
Description
- The present invention is directed to a lotion applicator that includes at least one strip and at least one finger slit to enable a person to apply lotion or other similar products to various regions of the skin that are hard to reach.
- Persons applying lotion or other similar products to their skin often wish to apply the lotion or other similar products to their entire body. Additionally, most persons are unable to reach certain areas of the body, such as the upper and mid back areas. When a person wishes to apply lotion and other similar products to their skin, they often must skip hard-to-reach areas on their body or attempt to reach the hard-to-reach areas, usually causing some pain in their arms or hands. One solution to the described problem is a product with a head and handle where a person may fill the head with lotion and, using the handle, reach areas of the skin that are unreachable. However, this solution requires a large object that is not capable of being easily carried and is not disposable. Another solution is a flexible material wipe that one can use to apply lotion. However, this product is not disposable and is not capable of being used in a roll type application.
- Therefore, there is a need for an improved lotion applicator, where a person may apply lotion or other similar products to hard-to-reach areas of the body and dispose of the lotion applicator for easy use.
-
FIG. 1 is an illustration of a lotion applicator roll according to the invention, including a strip, a first finger slit, and a second finger slit. -
FIG. 2 is an illustration of a strip according to the invention. - The following is a listing of numbers corresponding to particular elements referred to herein:

In certain embodiments, strip 110 has a width of between about 1⅜ inches and about 1⅝ inches. In certain embodiments, strip 110 has a thickness between about 0.009 inch and about 0.015 inch. In certain embodiments, first finger slit 112 has a length of between about ⅞ inch and about 1⅛ inches. In certain embodiments, second finger slit 114 has a length of between about ⅞ inches and about 1⅛ inches. - When a user wishes to apply lotion to hard-to-reach areas body, e.g., the back, the user can apply any type of lotion or similar product to one side of
