Abstract

A confectionery container with an image projection device comprises a front cover having a projection opening, which is used to project an image, at a central portion thereof a first body of which one end is fixed to the front cover, the first body receiving an image projection device therein; and a second body including a base and a rear cover, the base receiving the other end of the first body in one end thereof, and the rear cover being fixed to the outer peripheral surface of the base and receiving confectionery such as candies therein.

Description

    BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • 1. Field of the Invention
  • The present invention relates to a confectionery container with an image projection device, and more particularly, to a confectionery container with an image projection device that includes an image projection device at a front end portion thereof and thus easily magnifies and projects various images formed on the film, such as pictures or characters, onto a wall or ceiling irrespective of day or night, that is, a light place or a dark place, in order to see the various images to be magnified and projected. Further, the confectionery container with an image projection device includes a storage space, which is used to contain candies or other confectionery, at a rear portion thereof, so that a user can use the storage space to contain other articles after eating all confectionery.
  • 2. Description of the Related Art
  • The following image projector has been known. That is, an image projector includes a case substantially having the shape of a camera. Films having images, such as pictures, landscapes, and characters, are attached to the case. Then, if a shutter is pressed while the case faces a light place or the sun, the images formed on the films are projected while being changed.
  • However, the above-mentioned conventional image projector has the following problems. That is, in order to see images formed on films, a user should allow his or her eye to come in contact with an observation window formed on one side of a case having the shape of a camera in a light place. Further, the user cannot adjust the clarity and size of the image. Furthermore, since the conventional image projector has a large size, it is inconvenient for user to carry the conventional image projector. In addition, the user cannot see the images of the films in a dark place.
  • Further, since the conventional image projector did not have a storage space used to contain candies or other confectionery, the conventional image projector could not contain other articles.
  • SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • The present invention has been made to solve the above-mentioned problems, and it is an object of the present invention to provide a confectionery container with an image projection device that is used as a container for containing candies or other confectionery and includes a device for clearly magnifying and projecting various images formed on films, such as landscapes, portraits, and animals, onto a wall or screen. Accordingly, after being used to contain confectionery, the confectionery container can be used to contain other articles. Further, it is possible to interest children to play with the confectionery container, and to obtain a function as teachware having various images.
  • In order to achieve the object, according to an aspect of the present invention, a confectionery container with an image projection device includes a front cover having a projection opening at a central portion thereof, a first body of which one end is fixed to the front cover, and a second body including a base and a rear cover. The projection opening is used to project an image, and the first body receives an image projection device therein. Further, the base receives the other end of the first body in one end thereof. The rear cover is fixed to the outer peripheral surface of the base, and receives confectionery such as candies therein.
  • Preferably, the image projection device may include a reel that is rotatably provided in the first body so as to be partially exposed to the outside of the first body and is provided with film attachment portions, first and second lenses that are provided on both sides of the reel and are used to magnify and project an image, an electric bulb that is provided on one side of the second lens and intermittently emits light to the image, a battery that supplies electric power to the electric bulb, and a switch that is connected to the battery and the electric bulb and is used to turn on/off the electric bulb.
  • Further, one or more film attachment portions may be formed in the reel.
  • Furthermore, each of the first and second lenses may be a convex lens.
  • Further, the reel may include recesses corresponding to the film attachment portions, and the first body may include a protrusion that is elastically inserted and caught into the recess.

  • DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
  • A confectionery container with an image projection device according to an embodiment of the present invention will be described in detail below with reference to accompanying drawings.
  • FIG. 1 is an exploded perspective view of a confectionery container with an image projection device according to an embodiment of the present invention, FIG. 2 is an assembled perspective view of the confectionery container with the image projection device according to the embodiment of the present invention, and FIG. 3 is a cross-sectional view of the confectionery container with the image projection device according to the embodiment of the present invention.
  • Further, FIG. 4 is a plan view of a reel of the image projection device according to the embodiment of the present invention, and FIG. 5 is a perspective view of the confectionery container, in which the image projection device is in use, according to the embodiment of the present invention.
  • As shown in drawings, a confectionery container 100 with an image projection device according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a front cover 110 having a projection opening 111, a first body 120 that is fixed to one side of the front cover 110 and receives an image projection device 130 therein, and a second body 140 that includes a base 141 fixed to the first body 120 and a rear cover 142 receiving confectionery therein.
  • An image projection opening 111, which is used to project an image, is formed at a central portion of the front cover 110.
  • Further, the image projection device 130 provided in the first body 120 includes a first lens 131 and a reel 132. The first lens 131 is used to magnify and project an image, and one side of the first lens 131 is adjacent to the projection opening 111 of the front cover 110. The reel 132 includes films 132 a having images, and is rotatably provided on the other side of the first lens 131.
  • The image projection device further includes a second lens 133 and an electric bulb 134. The second lens 133 is provided on one side of the reel 132 opposite to the first lens 131, and is used to magnify and project an image. The electric bulb 134 is provided on one side of the second lens 133 opposite to the reel 132, and intermittently emits light to the image.
  • A convex lens is used as each of the first and second lenses 131 and 133. Accordingly, when light is emitted from the electric bulb 134 to the lenses, it is possible to facilitate the magnification and projection of an image.
  • In addition, the image projection device further includes a battery 136 and a switch 135. The battery 136 is provided on one side of the electric bulb 134, and supplies electric power to the electric bulb 134. The switch 135 is provided on the peripheral surface of the first body 120 so as to be connected to the battery 136 and the electric bulb 134, and is used to turn on/off the electric bulb 134.
  • Accordingly, when using the switch 135 for electrically connecting the battery 136 with the electric bulb 134, a user can see a clearer image in a light place as well as in a dark place.
  • Further, if allowing the front cover 110 of the first body 120 provided at the front side of the confectionery container 100 to approach or move away from a wall or screen, a user can simply adjust the clarity and size of the image.
  • That is, if the front cover 110 of the first body 120 is too close to the wall or screen, the size of the image is small and the clarity of the image is high. In contrast, if the front cover 110 of the first body 120 is too far from the wall or screen, the size of the image is large and the clarity of the image is low.
  • Accordingly, the distance between the front cover 110 and the wall or screen is set appropriately to adjust the size and clarity of the image.
  • Further, the reel 132 has the shape of a disk. One or more film attachment portions 132 b, to which films 132 a having various images are attached, are formed on the surface of the reel 132. In addition, a convexo-concave portion 132 c, which is used for a user to easily rotate the reel, is formed on the outer peripheral surface of the reel 132.
  • Since the films 132 a having several images can be attached to the film attachment portions 132 b, a user can see several images while rotating the reel 132. Further, the films 132 a attached to the film attachment portions 132 b can be replaced with other films. For this reason, if a user replaces existing films with new ones, it is possible to see various images without disinclination.
  • In addition, a shaft 132 d is formed at a central portion of the reel 132 and supported rotatably to the first body 120. Accordingly, the reel 132 is easily rotated by the shaft 132 d. Further, recesses 132 e, which are used to intermittently catch the reel during the rotation of the reel, are formed outside the film attachment portions 132 b on one surface of the reel 132.
  • Further, a protrusion 138 having elasticity is formed in the first body 120 near the outer periphery thereof. Since the protrusion 138 is inserted and caught into each of the recesses 132 e during the rotation of the reel 132, the reel 132 stops intermittently. Therefore, it is possible to accurately and easily select an image.
  • That is, if one recess 132 e corresponding to one film attachment portion 132 b is positioned at the position corresponding to the protrusion 138 during the rotation of the reel 132, the protrusion 138 is inserted and caught into the recess 132 e. In this case, since an image formed on the film is magnified and projected, a user can see the image that is magnified and projected. If the user strongly rotates the reel 132 in order to see another image, the protrusion 138 is separated from the recess 132 e due to the elasticity thereof. Then, the protrusion 138 is inserted and caught into another recess corresponding to another film attachment portion.
  • A receiving portion 141 a having a screw thread is formed in one end of a base 141, and one end of the first body 120 opposite to the front cover 110 is fastened to the receiving portion 141 a. Further, a protruding portion 141 b having a screw thread on the outer surface thereof is formed at the other end of a base 141, and the rear cover 142 is fastened to the protruding portion 141 b, thereby forming the second body 140 that receives the confectionery such as candies therein. Accordingly, a user can see various images by using the image projection device 130 provided in the first body 120, and the second body 140 contains confectionery such as candies. Therefore, it is possible to simultaneously obtain a function as a container and a function as teachware having various images.
  • Further, since the size of the confectionery container with the image projection device according to the embodiment of the invention substantially corresponds to that of a marker pen, it is convenient for a user to carry and keep the confectionery container.
  • The operation of the image projection device according to the embodiment of the present invention will be described below.
  • First, when a user wants to see the image of the film 132 a attached to the film attachment portion 132 b of the reel 132, a user presses the switch 135 that is provided on the peripheral surface of the first body 120 so as to come in contact with a connecting terminal 137. In this case, the battery 136 is electrically connected to the electric bulb 134, so that the electric bulb 134 emits light.
  • Accordingly, the image formed on the film 132 a is magnified and projected onto a wall or screen through the first and second lenses 131 and 133.
  • Then, if the user releases the switch 135, the battery 136 is electrically disconnected from the electric bulb 134 and the electric bulb 134 thus does not emit light. Accordingly, the image formed on the film 132 a is not projected onto a wall or screen.
  • As described in detail above, according to the confectionery container with an image projection device of the present invention, the projection device is provided in the first body. Therefore, it is possible to clearly magnify and project various images formed on the film, such as landscapes, portraits, and animals, onto a wall or screen anytime irrespective of brightness, in order to see the various images. In addition, a storage space, which is used to contain candies or other confectionery, is formed in the second body. Therefore, the storage space can be used to contain other articles after being used as a confectionery container.
  • Further, it is possible to interest children to play with the confectionery container, and to obtain a function as teachware having various images, at the same time. In addition, since the confectionery container with the image projection device has a small size, it is convenient for a user to carry and keep the confectionery container.

Claims (5)

1. A confectionery container with an image projection device, the confectionery container comprising:
a front cover having a projection opening, which is used to project an image, at a central portion thereof;
a first body of which one end is fixed to the front cover, the first body receiving an image projection device therein; and
a second body including a base and a rear cover, the base receiving the other end of the first body in one end thereof, and the rear cover being fixed to the outer peripheral surface of the base and receiving confectionery such as candies therein.
2. The confectionery container according to claim 1, wherein the image projection device includes:
a reel that is rotatably provided in the first body so as to be partially exposed to the outside of the first body and is provided with film attachment portions;
first and second lenses that are provided on both sides of the reel and are used to magnify and project an image;
an electric bulb that is provided on one side of the second lens and emits light to the image;
a battery that supplies electric power to the electric bulb; and
a switch that is connected to the battery and the electric bulb and is used to turn on/off the electric bulb.
3. The confectionery container according to claim 2, wherein one or more film attachment portions are formed in the reel.
4. The confectionery container according to claim 2, wherein each of the first and second lenses is a convex lens.
5. The confectionery container according to claim 3, wherein the reel includes recesses corresponding to the film attachment portions, and
the first body includes a protrusion that is elastically inserted and caught into the recess.
