  • BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • This invention relates generally to the field of a biodegradable disposable bathroom sink cape and more specifically to an article of manufacture for Shave-N-Go. Shave-N-Go is a biodegradable, paper disposable bathroom sink cape designed to be the most efficient and fastest way to clean up after shaving with a electric razor, beard trimmer or clippers. The object of the invention does not provide any protection to the sink, simply a cape to catch falling hair from shaving. After use, simply close up the cape, ball it up and throw in it in the trash.
  • Shaving with a electric razor, beard trimmer or clippers has always leaves fine pieces of hair that is messy and hard to clean up. Right now you only have one of two options and that is to 1) rinse the hair down the drain or 2) wipe the hair up with a wet wipe or paper towel. The down fall to rinsing hair down the drain is that hair is number one cause in clogged drains which can amount to expensive repairs. The down fall to number two is that it is too time consuming and frustrating to wipe up every single piece of hair. There is a need for an inexpensive biodegradable sink cape for easy clean up.
  • Several types of sink liners have been proposed such as Crystal Neal—Nov. 30, 1999—U.S. Pat. No. 5,991,942 Disposable Sink and Drain Protector and Rubbish Collector. That device claims for protecting the surface of the drain and sink and is made of a polyethylene plastic material which will enable to the sink to be used without valuables falling into the drain and would also protect the surface of the sink. Another similar liner was proposed in Dec. 31, 1957—U.S. Pat. No. 2,817,851 to D. J. Barnwell—Disposable Wash-Bowl Liner. This liner also claimed to protect the interior bowl being made of a tough, flexible waterproof material for the usage of the wash bowl. However these devices are for wet use and claims to protect the surface of the sink, and are intended for the sink/wash bowl to be used with water. The cost to use either of these products on a weekly bases would be very expensive.
  • One way that trimmer and clipper manufacturer tried to solve this problem is by adding a expensive vacuum system to the trimmer to vacuum the hair as it is cut.
  • The problem with the vacuum system trimmers is that it is only on one style of beard trimmers and it still leaves some residue of hair to be cleaned up. The vacuum trimmer is limited to only one manufacturer and is only on one style of trimmer. My Shave-N-Go system is universal for any beard trimmer, electric razor or clippers and can be used with the vacuum system trimmer to catch the hair that it drops.
  • BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • The primary object of the invention is that it is the quickest and easiest way to clean up after shaving with a beard trimmer, electric razor or clippers.
  • Another object of the invention is that it prevents hair from falling into the drain, therefore; preventing clogged drains.
  • Another object of the invention is that it is a one step cleaning process.
  • A further object of the invention is that there are no messy clean ups.
  • Yet another object of the invention is that clean up is done in seconds.
  • Other objects and advantages of the present invention will become apparent from the following descriptions, taken in connection with the accompanying drawings, wherein, by way of illustration and example, an embodiment of the present invention is disclosed.
  • In accordance with a preferred embodiment of the invention, there is disclosed an article of manufacture for Shave-N-Go disposable sink cape comprising: Biodegradable paper material, Install in seconds, Easy and fast to use, and Saves time. A biodegradable, disposable bathroom sink cape for use with a bathroom sink to which the cape lay inside of the sink, overlapping the counter tops and having flaps covering the faucet knobs for the purpose of dry use as a means of function to catch hair from shaving with a electric razor, beard trimmer or clippers. The invention solves the problem of cleaning up hair after shaving and also can be used by women who brush and groom their hair over the sink and rinse the falling hair down the drain which eventually will cause a clogged drain.
  • These and other features of the invention may be more fully appreciated when considering that there aren't many alternatives to cleaning up after shaving with an electric razor, beard trimmer or clippers.
  • BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
  • The drawings constitute a part of this specification and include exemplary embodiments to the invention, which may be embodied in various forms. It is to be understood that in some instances various aspects of the invention may be shown exaggerated or enlarged to facilitate an understanding of the invention.
  • FIG. 1 is a perspective view of the invention.
  • FIG. 2 shows how the perforated slits of the cape is penetrated through by the neck of the faucet, displaying the faucet neck.
  • FIG. 3 shows how the flanges/flaps are intended to cover the faucet knobs to remind and prevent the user from using water.
  • FIG. 4 shows the plain view of the disposable biodegradable sink cape laying out over the sink in normal use.
  • FIG. 5 shows the one step process of balling up the cape and simply throwing it into a trash can. There are no tools or ties needed.
  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
  • Detailed descriptions of the preferred embodiment are provided herein. It is to be understood, however, that the present invention may be embodied in various forms. Therefore, specific details disclosed herein are not to be interpreted as limiting, but rather as a basis for the claims and as a representative basis for teaching one skilled in the art to employ the present invention in virtually any appropriately detailed system, structure or manner.
  • The Shave-N-Go Disposable Biodegradable bathroom sink cape, an article of manufacture according to FIG. 1 consists of the plain view of the cape as it appears over the bathroom showing the flanges 1, the perforated slit on the neck of the faucet 2, and the drain 3 with the sink shown in phantom. Turning to FIG. 2, shows how the neck of the faucet 2 is penetrated through the perforated slit, displaying the faucet neck. Following to FIG. 3, the flanges 1 are slid back to cover the faucet handles to remind and prevent the user from using water because the invention is intended for dry use only while the neck of the faucet 2 in penetrated through the perforated slit. FIGS. 2 and 3 is in accordance with an important feature that the cape can be installed in seconds. Turning now to FIG. 4 shows a plain view of the biodegradable disposable bathroom sink cape in normal use as it is laid out over the sink with the flanges 1 covering the faucet knobs, the drain 3 and the faucet 2 neck penetrated through the perforated slit. To accomplish an important function of the invention, FIG. 5 shows how quick and easy it is to throw 1 and disregard the sink cape 2 in a trash basket 3 after use. A biodegradable disposable sink cape comprising of a single sheet of specially designed paper material to lay in the sink to catch hair from shaving with an electric razor, beard trimmer or clippers.
  • While the invention has been described in connection with a preferred embodiment, it is not intended to limit the scope of the invention to the particular form set forth, but on the contrary, it is intended to cover such alternatives, modifications, and equivalents as may be included within the spirit and scope of the invention as defined by the appended claims.
