Abstract

Many people are now playing soccer in the United States. To make this more enjoyable, the air soccer goal is being introduced. The air soccer goal is made in an adult size allowing a goalie to stand up under the goal frame, just as in a real soccer match. The soccer goal is built by inflating it with the included air pump. The soccer goal can be deflated for easy portability and is made of strong PVC material so it will be able to stand up to strong soccer kicks as wells as strong winds.

Description

    FIELD OF THE INVENTION
  • This invention relates to inflatable soccer goals used for soccer practices in outdoor environments with a goalie included as an active member of the game.
  • BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • As soccer gets more popular in the United States, more difficult is to find a field with soccer goals as we go out to our weekends in the parks or beaches. Usually it is easy to find basketball courts everywhere, but not soccer goals. Because schools are in large part responsible for the awakening of children's heightened interest in soccer, school grounds are frequently the location of soccer practicing. Because the majority of schools are unable to provide great numbers of permanent soccer fields, most soccer teams and players must rely on portable soccer goals if such active practice sessions are to be provided on a regular basis. Regulation soccer goals are large, a portable design has proven to be somewhat difficult. One solution has been to utilize basically the air soccer goal. This inflatable soccer goal being made in the original size of an indoor soccer goal will permit the practice of soccer as it was intended, with use of a goalie. The goalie is important to keep the soccer match as close to the original sport as possible. The strong goal frame is made possible with the use of strong PVC material making the goal able to resist strong soccer shots and wind gusts. Soccer is traditionally played with a goalie. Using a big frame (6 ft 6 in) high by (11 ft 4 in) wide, makes this possible because the goalie can fit under the frame. Accordingly, there is a need for a device that can be easily installed and removed for a weekend getaway, making practice more close to the real soccer game.
  • SUMMARY
  • The invention provides a simple and convenient means for practicing soccer in parks or beaches, benefiting future soccer players. The portable, adult size, PVC soccer goal is strong enough to hold plays as in the original soccer match. When the player wants to remove the invention all he needs to do is decompress the air and it will be easily transported and stored.
  • BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • The adult size air goal is what is needed to practice shooting with a goal keeper in an outdoor environment with easy portability.
  • BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE SEVERAL VIEWS OF THE DRAWING
  • FIG. 1 is a front view of the inflatable air soccer goal showing my new design;
  • FIG. 2A is a left bottom corner view thereof;
  • FIG. 2B is a right bottom corner view thereof;
  • FIG. 2C is right outer corner view thereof;
  • FIG. 2D is top right front corner view thereof;
  • FIG. 2E is right out side post view thereof;
  • FIG. 2F is bottom top right front corner view thereof;
  • FIG. 2G is top right front corner view thereof;
  • FIG. 3 is decompressed back view thereof;
  • FIG. 4 is air pump view thereof; and
  • FIG. 5 is air valve view thereof;
  • DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT
  • With reference now to the drawings, FIG. 1 is the front view of the goal, the structure is made of heavy duty strong PVC to prevent swaying and movement in high winds and powerful ball strikes. more specifically, it will be noted that the air soccer goal is divided into sections as showing on FIG. 2A,
  • FIG. 2B, FIG. 2C, FIG. 2D, FIG. 2E, FIG. 2G. Each of them showing the re enforced corners and how the net is connected.
  • FIG. 2F of the drawings illustrates the air pump hose connected and locked.
  • FIG. 3 of the drawings illustrates the air soccer goal before it is completed inflated.
  • FIG. 4 of the drawings illustrates the air pump.
  • FIG. 5 of the drawings illustrates the air valve and its locking capability to the air pump hose. This air valve is made so that it can be twisted and locked for the air pressure control. To decompress it just press the center bottom of the air valve.
  • With respect to the above description then, it is to be realized that the air soccer goal differs form others by size, material and details above described.
  • The scope of the invention is, therefore, indicated by the appended claims rather than by the foregoing description. All changes that come within the meaning and range of equivalency of the claims are to be embraced within their scope.

Claims (6)

1. A portable adult size air soccer goal with a built-in net to be used in parks or beaches for soccer play. Much of the net periphery is defined by closed mesh threaded onto one of the plastic post members, the net thus being telescoped onto such member. To assemble the goal, the frame is inflated; the telescoped part of the net periphery is stretched out over the frame, keeping it loose, and the net periphery is already tied to the frame.
2. The combination of claim 1 wherein this invention relates to a collapsible goal structure, for use for example as a soccer goal in parks and beaches.
3. The combination of claim 1 wherein collapsible or in other words inflatable that is assembled into goals, such as soccer goals, have a number of advantages over fixed structures which cannot be disassembled and easily transported, the primary advantages being easy portability and reduced storage space requirements.
4. The combination of claim 1 wherein the net is already attached to the frame, allowing easy installation.
5. The combination of claim 1 wherein the air inflatable goal, made in adult size (6 ft 6 in) high by (11 ft 4 in) wide.
6. The combination of claim 1 wherein the air inflatable goal is made of a strong PVC material different from small goals able to stand up and hold against strong winds and strong soccer kicks.
