Abstract
A slide linking apparatus includes a fixing base of a chassis, a positioning member at the fixing base, an aslant blocking plate on the fixing base, and first and second rails engaged with each other and embedded into the fixing base. The first rail includes a swing member having an extending portion and embedded into a slide groove. The second rail includes a link member pressing the swing member, such that when the second rail slides outward, the link member presses the extending portion of the swing member and drives the first rail to move until the swing member is pressed downward by the aslant blocking plate and separated from the link member and the first rail stops. When the second rail slides inward, the process is reverse. Since the first and second rails are moved synchronously, the pressure exerted on the second rail will be reduced to prevent deformations.
Description
- 1. Field of the Invention
- The present invention relates to a slide linking apparatus, and more particularly to a slide linking apparatus having a link member and a swing member that work together to slide a first rail and a second rail outward and share the weight exerted on the second rail which is fixed to an object, so as to prevent the rails from being deformed.
- 2. Description of the Related Art
- In general, a traditional slide structure for chassis or drawers usually installs rollers on both sides of the chassis and rails of an object or a drawer, so that the slides are engaged with the rollers, and the rear end of the rails has an arc guide rail disposed at a position lower than the rails. Although the rollers are rolled, the base of the object or drawer is moved accordingly and entered into the guide rail along the rail. By the slope naturally formed between the guide rail and the rail and the weight of the object or drawer, the drawer can be fixed at a desired position. However, the weight of the object, the drawer and their contents produces a certain pressure onto the guide rail or deforms the guide rail, such that the slope between the rail and the guide rail is changed from a smooth slope to a bumpy slope. As a result, the object or drawer will move in an unsmooth manner or even get stuck during the process when the guide rail enters into the rail. Since the position of the guide rail is lower than the rail, the weight of the object or the drawer with its contents makes the pulling process very tiresome and the application very inconvenient, when the object or drawer is moved from the guide rail towards the rail.
- Further, the structure of another slide comes with a sliding rail, and the sliding rail has a first rail and a second rail, wherein the second rail is embedded into the first rail, and the ends of the first and second rails are expanded outward. When this apparatus is used, the second rail will slide outwards as the object moves, until the end of the second rail is latched onto the first rail, and then the first rail will start sliding outward. If a chassis is pulled outward or maintained, the first rail and the second rail do not move synchronously, but the weight of the chassis is concentrated on the first rail, and thus the second rail may be failed or stuck due to its deformation, and causes lots of problems to its applications.
- In view of the shortcomings of the prior art, the inventor of the invention based on years of experience in the related industry to conduct extensive researches and experiments, and finally invented a slide linking apparatus in accordance with the present invention.
- Therefore, it is a primary objective of the present invention to provide a feasible solution and overcome the foregoing problems by providing a slide linking apparatus, and the apparatus comprises a fixing base fixed onto an internal side of a chassis, a positioning member disposed at an end of the fixing base, an aslant blocking plate disposed at a specific position of the fixing base, and a first rail and a second rail embedded into the fixing base and engaged with each other. The first rail includes a swing member disposed proximate to an end of the positioning member, and another end of the swing member is embedded into a slide groove, and the second rail includes a link member for pressing against the swing member, such that when the second rail slides outward, the link member presses against the swing member to drive the first rail to move accordingly until the swing member is pressed downward by the aslant blocking plate to swing and separate from the link member, and the first rail stops moving forward. On the other hand, if the second rail is moved backward, the first rail is driven to move accordingly. When the swing member moves backward and presses against the positioning member of the fixing base, the swing member slides upward to resume the link member back to the extending portion of the swing member. Since the second rail and the first rail are moved synchronously, the pressure exerted on the second rail connected to an object will be reduced, so as to prevent possible deformations.
- Another objective of the present invention is to provide a slide linking apparatus, whose swing member has a groove disposed at an extending portion and corresponding to a link member, such that the link member can be accommodated by the groove of the swing member, so as to press against the swing member tightly.
- The objective, shape, structure, characteristic and effect of the present invention will now be described in more detail with reference to the accompanying drawings that show various embodiments of the invention, in which:
