Description

    BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • 1. Field of the Invention
  • The present invention relates to a dust brush, and more particularly, to a dust brush in which an advertising piece printed with various advertising wordings, patterns, logos, or the like on one side of a body of the dust brush is detachable to the dust brush, and a ring formed in a rear end of the body is rotatable and detachable.
  • 2. Description of the Prior Art
  • Generally, dust is flowed into a room, such as a home, and is deposited on various types of furniture. Thus, this dust is flowed into a human body when a person breathes to injure his health. Therefore, this dust must be periodically removed.
  • In addition, dust is deposited on a vehicle. Thus, when the dust is largely deposited on it, it is not good in appearance, as well as when the dust is deposited on it, it obstructs a driver's field of view to disturb a driver's safe drive.
  • For this reason, most of vehicles are essentially provided with a dust brush.
  • FIG. 1 shows a dust brush, particularly, a dust brush used for a vehicle. This dust brush 10 is configured in the form that a brushing portion (its reference numeral is not given) made in a form which a cloth, a piece of cloth, or the like is twisted is detachably connected and fixed to a body 12 with a fixed length, as shown in the figure.
  • In addition, the dust brush 10 is made to have a structure in which a latch 14 is integrally formed with the end of the body 12 in order to hang it on a hook in a sidewall of the vehicle.
  • Therefore, when user intends to brush the dust deposited on the vehicle, and the like, the user suffices to grip the body 12 and brush the outer surface of a vehicle body and an outer surface of a glass with the brushing portion of the dust brush. After using, the dust brush is put into the trunk of the vehicle or the latch 14 of the dust brush is hanged on the hook in the sidewall of the vehicle and then kept.
  • However, the dust brush, and the like as above-mentioned is mainly used as a gift expressing the gratitude because its manufacturing cost is relatively cheap.
  • That is to say, there are many cases that when a vehicle seller presents the dust brush to a buyer as a gift, print a he/her own name, a telephone number or a name of business office on one side of the body of the dust brush and then present it to the buyer for the sake of advertisement, and that also in the other business place, for the sake of above purpose, print various advertising wordings, patterns or logos, and the like on one side of the body and then present it to the buyer for the sake of advertisement.
  • However, the dust brush as above-mentioned is that most of a body is made from a synthetic resin. Therefore, its manufacture is realized by an injection molding. Thus, when one intends to print the advertising wordings, patterns or logos, a mold accordingly should have been made.
  • As well known, since the mold costs a great deal in its manufacture, it is economically inefficient to individually make the mold in which the expensive is heavy in order to manufacture a temporary and limited product. Accordingly, there is a problem that the seller or the business place that intends to manufacture the dust brush for advertisement has a large burden in view of cost.
  • In addition, a latch formed in the end of the body of the dust brush also was integrally formed by the injection molding upon manufacturing. Therefore, when hanging the latch on the sidewall of the vehicle, the latch is hooked only in the one direction.
  • SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • The present invention is conceived to solve the aforementioned problems, and it is an object of the present invention to provide a dust brush that minimizes the manufacture cost by manufacturing an advertising piece printed with various advertising wordings, patterns or logos, and the like on one side of a body of the dust brush, and the body to which the advertising piece is detachable, as separate objects, respectively, and after mass producing the body, mounting the advertising piece thus manufactured to the body, as required.
  • In addition, it is a further object of the present invention to provide a dust brush that its hanging becomes easy by constructing such that the latch formed in the rear end of the body can be rotated.
  • According to the present invention for achieving the object, there is provided a dust brush comprising a body integrally formed with a handle, a brushing portion which is made of a cloth or a piece of cloth and is detachably provided with the body, and a latch formed in a rear end of the body, comprising: a rest recess having an engaging hole and formed on one side of the body; a separate advertising piece in which engaging protrusions corresponding to the engaging hole are formed to be detachable to the rest recess of the body, and on the top surface of which various advertising wordings, patterns or logos, and the like are engraved; and a latch which is mounted in the rear end of the body to be freely rotatable at 360°.
  • In addition, there is provided a dust brush further comprising an engaging hole formed in a rear end of the body, and gripping pieces formed on an one side of the latch and having a little larger diameter than that of the engaging hole and can be pursed by an elasticity, wherein the gripping piece of the latch is forced into the engaging hole of the body and is rotatably mounted therein.
  • Meanwhile, there is provided a dust brush further comprising an engaging hole formed on one surface of the rear end of the body, a guide piece formed with an engaging protrusion corresponding to the engaging hole to be inserted closely to a rear end inner surface of the body, and a separate detachable portion which the latch is freely, rotatably mounted to its engaging hole, wherein the latch is constructed to be detachably mounted to the body.
  • In addition, there is provided a dust brush, further comprising a palm shaped gripping portion formed on a surface of the body so as to easily grip the body when a user grips the body using a user's own hand.
  • BRIEF DESCRIPTIONS OF THE DRAWINGS
  • The above and other features and advantages of the present invention will become more apparent to those of ordinary skill in the art by describing in detail preferred embodiments thereof with reference to the accompanying drawings in which:
  • FIG. 1 is a perspective view showing a conventional general dust brush;
  • FIG. 2 is a perspective view showing a dust brush according to the present invention;
  • FIG. 3 is a sectional view of primary parts of FIG. 2;
  • FIG. 4 is a perspective view showing a dust brush according to another embodiment of the present invention; and
  • FIG. 5 is a sectional view of the primary parts of FIG. 4.
  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT
  • Hereinafter, preferred embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.
  • In describing the present invention, parts identical to those of the prior art will bear identical same reference numerals thereto and the overlapped description thereof will be omitted.
  • FIG. 2 is a perspective view showing a dust brush according to the present invention, and FIG. 3 is a sectional view of the primary parts of FIG. 2.
  • As shown, the dust brush 10 of the present invention is provided with a rest recess 24 having engaging holes 26 on one side of its body 12.
  • That is to say, the body 12 is manufactured by an injection molding in a state in which the rest recess 24 as above is formed on its one side.
  • In addition, an advertising piece 20 which can be attached and detached to and from the rest recess 24 is manufactured separately, and this advertising piece 20 is formed with engaging protrudes 22 for inserting and fixing to the engaging holes 26 of the rest recess 24, and various advertising wordings, patterns or logos are engraved on the top surface of the advertising piece, as requirements of an orderer.
  • Accordingly, a manufacturer massively produces the body 12 formed with the rest recess 24 as described above and then engraves the various advertising wordings, the patterns or the logos only on the advertising piece 20 according to the number required by the orderer. Therefore, it suffices to only mount the advertising piece 20 thus manufactured to the body 12 and give it to the user.
  • In addition, a latch 30 is rotatably mounted in the rear end of the body 12.
  • That is, as shown in FIG. 3, an engaging hole with a fixed size (its reference numeral is not given) is formed in the rear end of the body 12, and a latch 30 is inserted and fixed into and to this engaging hole.
  • That is to say, the latch 30 is formed with gripping pieces 34 having an elasticity to be pursed by a predetermined amount in the other surface of a ring 32. Here, since a size of the gripping pieces 34 is formed to be larger than a diameter of the engaging hole of the body 12, the user suffices to force the gripping pieces 34 of the latch 30 into the engaging hole of the body 12.
  • If so do, the gripping pieces 34 of the latch 30 are pursed under the elasticity force and then passed through the engaging hole. Thereafter, if these gripping pieces 34 are entirely entered into the engaging hole, they are widen by their own elasticity and then engaged with an inner tongue portion of the engaging hole. Consequently, the gripping pieces are fixed not to be detached there and also the latch 30 is freely rotatable at 360°
  • Therefore, in case of hanging the dust brush 20 on the hook of the sidewall using the ring 32 of the latch 30, one can hang the dust brush in a desired state by freely rotating the latch 30.
  • Meanwhile, FIG. 4 is a perspective view showing a dust brush according to another embodiment of the present invention, and FIG. 5 is a sectional view of the primary parts of FIG. 4, wherein it also is possible to detachably construct the latch 30, as shown the figure.
  • That is, as in above-mentioned embodiment, if the latch 30 is forced into the rear end of the body 12, it is not easy to detach it. Therefore, there may be a problem that the functionality of the latch 30 is entirely lost, if the ring 32 of the latch 30 is destructed.
  • Accordingly, the present embodiment forms a detachable device 40 which is inserted into the rear end of the body 12, as a separate object, and thus it suffices to force the gripping piece 34 of the latch 30 into the engaging hole (its reference numeral is not given) of the detachable device 40 as in the above embodiment, and to detach the detachable device to the rear end of the body 12.
  • Then, the detachable device 40 is provided with guide pieces 42 to be inserted while abutting on an inner surface of the rear end of the body 12.
  • That is, an engaging hole 12a is formed on one side of a rear end of the body 12, and an engaging protrusion 44 corresponding to the engaging hole 12 a of the body 12 is formed on one side of the guide piece 42 of the detachable device 40. Therefore, it is possible to detachably dispose the detachable device relative to the rear end of the body 12.
  • Accordingly, when a ring 32 of the latch 30 is broken so that it cannot be used, it suffices to separately purchase only the detachable device 40 and replace it.
  • In addition, a surface of the body 12 is formed with a palm shaped gripping portion 46 so that when a user grips it using a user's own hand, the user's hand is guided by the palm shaped gripping portion. Thereby, the user grips it more easily.
  • As described above, according to the dust brush of the present invention, there is advantage that the orderer or the manufacturer can order or manufacture the dust brush for advertisement or public information with a low cost, by manufacturing the body formed with the rest recess on one side, and separately manufacturing the advertising piece which is detachable to the rest recess of the body, and on its top surface of which various advertising wordings, patterns or logos, and the like are engraved according to the orderer's order, or by manufacturing in a state which the advertising piece is mounted to the rest recess of the body, as required.
  • In addition, there is an advantage that since the latch formed in the rear end of the body is configured to be freely rotatable, it can easily hang the dust brush on the hook in the sidewall of the vehicle.
  • Meanwhile, in case the latch is constructed to be detachable to the body, it suffices to exchange only this broken portion on breakage of the latch. Therefore, there also is an advantage reducing the unnecessary expense.
  • Though the present invention has described with reference to above embodiment, it is be appreciated that modifications may be made without departing from the spirit of the present invention
