Description

    BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • According to Freudianism, babyhood of 1-24 months old infants is the important stage for basic formation of character, and most of 2-6-year old infants can relieve themselves in a given place and in the correct body position through several toilet-training and trials and errors. If motivation is provided to children in this babyhood to show their intention to evacuate, they can easily go to stool by themselves. This toilet training helps children with becoming well rounded. [0001]
  • Babyhood is a very important stage of the life of human being because the babyhood is the stage for basic formation of emotion, custom and character. It is preferred to let the infants naturally acquaint themselves with interest with the correct emotion as well as with the correct custom. [0002]
  • It is known that the introduction of an infant to a potty may be a traumatic experience to said infant. Therefore, a need for a potty which will create no antagonism or relatively little antagonism towards the infant remains. [0003]
  • SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • According to one aspect, the present invention relates to a kit comprising materials suitable for constructing and/or decorating a potty by a child. [0004]
  • According to another aspect, the present invention relates to a potty prepared by such a kit. [0005]
  • According to another aspect, the present invention relates to a kit for constructing a potty comprising: [0006]
  • a) a biowaste collecting container; [0007]
  • b) a potty seat; said biowaste collecting container and potty seat being suitable to be assembled by a 2 to 6 year old child, to form a potty. [0008]
  • Preferably, the kit further comprising a children's book comprising a children's story which encourages a child to use a potty. [0009]
  • According to another aspect, the present invention relates to a kit for constructing a potty by way of amusement, comprising a plurality of construction parts suitable to be constructed by a 2 to 6 year old child. [0010]
  • According to another aspect, the present invention relates to a kit for decorating a potty comprising a potty and decorations suitable to be applied to said potty. [0011]
  • Preferably, said potty or a part thereof is of the texture of an erasable blackboard. [0012]
  • Preferably, said decorations are stickers selected from the group of decorative stickers, amusement stickers and stickers with illustrations of popular children entities, said stickers being suitable to be applied by a 2 to 6 year old child. [0013]
  • Preferably, the kit further comprising a children's book comprising a children's story which encourages the use of a potty. [0014]
  • Preferably said biowaste collecting container is selected from the group of bowl and disposable container. [0015]
  • According to another aspect, the present invention relates to a kit for constructing a potty and decorating a potty. [0016]
  • The advantage of the potty prepared according to the present invention is that it has been found that a child that builds and/or decorates a potty by himself, develops an emotional connection to said potty, and as a result the antagonism of the infant toward said potty is lowered.[0017]
  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
  • The kit of the present invention can be comprised of a wide variety of means of building and/or decorating a potty. The level of difficulty in building the potty may also vary and can be matched to the skills of the child to be building. In the event that the skills of the child are not sufficient for building the potty he may use the help of an older child such as a sibling or an adult such as a parent. [0018]
  • The kit of the present invention may comprise, by way of example, six square boards, one of which comprises a hole. Said six boards are easily attached together as can be seen in the drawings, to form a cube having a hole on one of its sides. Said side being suitable to be the seat of the potty. However the shape and form of the components for building the potty and of the potty itself may vary in a wide scope of embodiments and variations. [0019]
  • By further way of example, the kit of the present invention may comprise Lego® blocks or any other type of construction blocks or materials. The amount of blocks and their shape being suitable for forming a potty. If needed, the kit may further comprise an illustration and/or instructions to assist the builder of the potty. [0020]
  • The potty built according to the present invention may be designed in such a way that it is suitable for the child to decorate it. [0021]
  • According to one embodiment the outside walls of the potty may be of the texture of an erasable blackboard. According to this embodiment, the child may decorate the potty with suitable markers or chalk and later easily erase said board and decorate the potty again. [0022]
  • According to another embodiment the kit of the present invention may comprise stickers suitable to be stuck on the potty, said stickers having drawings of popular children entities such as Winnie the Pooh©, Kermit the Frog©, or beauty and the beast©, the Jungle Book©, According to another embodiment said figures may be in the form of a coloring book and the child can color these figures. [0023]
  • According to another embodiment, the potty built according to the present invention may be easily dismantled. Thus the child may enjoy the experience of building his own potty numerous times. [0024]
  • As understood from the description above, the potty built according to the present invention may interest the child more than a typical potty, and may looked upon as a type of a toy. [0025]
  • It is important for the potty to be clean at all times. In order to achieve this goal the potty built according to the present invention preferably employs a disposable container for collecting the biowaste. [0026]

  • According to a preferred embodiment the disposable container used in the present invention comprises means to treat the uncomfortable odor of the biowaste. Such means may be any one or more of absorbing agents, degrading agents, and/or air purifiers. Such absorbing agents, degrading agents, and/or air purifiers.are well known to one with average skills in the art. Typical, but not limitative kinds of such materials are described, inter alia, in U.S. Pat. No. 5,352,444, and 5,589,164. [0028]
  • According to another embodiment the present invention relates to a kit comprising a potty and one or more of absorbing agents, degrading agents, and/or air purifiers. [0029]
