- Referring to the drawings and initially to FIGS.1-5, a work table having the function of collecting dust or the like in accordance with a preferred embodiment of the present invention comprises a
body 1 having a top provided with aframe 11. - The
frame 11 of thebody 1 has an inner wall provided with aflange 111, for supportingmultiple net plates 12, thereby forming a table. Theframe 11 of thebody 1 has a corner formed with an insertion hole 112 (see FIG. 5) for insertion of anupright hanging bar 13. Theframe 11 of thebody 1 has three sides each pivotally provided with aguard plate guard plates - The
body 1 has a lower portion provided with adust suction chamber 2. Thedust suction chamber 2 has a top provided with aramp 21. Theramp 21 of thedust suction chamber 2 has a distal end formed with an uprightreceiving space 22 extending downward to a bottom of thedust suction chamber 2. Anoblique plate 28 is mounted in thereceiving space 22. Afilter net 3 is inserted into thereceiving space 22. Thefilter net 3 is not fixed when it is inserted into thereceiving space 22, and is rested on the wall of thereceiving space 22 by action of theoblique plate 28. - The
body 1 has a back side formed with an opening 23 (see FIG. 3) communicating with thedust suction chamber 2. Anouter cover plate 24 is secured on the back side of thebody 11 for covering theopening 23. - The
body 1 has a side formed with anair outlet 26, and is provided with aguard net 27 for covering theair outlet 26 of thebody 1. Ablast 25 is mounted in thedust suction chamber 2, and has an outlet communicating with theair outlet 26 of thebody 1. The lower portion of thebody 1 is formed with a dust collection opening 18 located beside thereceiving space 22. Adust collection drawer 19 is slidably mounted in the lower portion of thebody 1, and is received in the dust collection opening 18. - In user, referring to FIGS.5-7 with reference to FIG. 1, the table formed by the
multiple net plates 12 may be used to work and process workpieces (not shown) supported thereon. Theupright hanging bar 13 may be used to support an electric power wire or a lamp, thereby providing an illumination effect. - The fragments4 (see FIG. 7) produced during the working process may initially pass through the meshes of the
multiple net plates 12, may then fall down onto theramp 21, may then roll down along theramp 21 into the dust collection opening 18, and may finally be collected by thedust collection drawer 19. Alternatively, fragments 4 produced during the working process may initially pass through the meshes of themultiple net plates 12, may then directly fall down into the dust collection opening 18, and may finally be collected by thedust collection drawer 19. - On the other hand, the work table in accordance with the present invention may also be used to collect tiny chips41 (see FIG. 7) or powder dust. The
blast 25 mounted in thedust suction chamber 2 may blow and carry the air outward to produce a suction force. Theblast 25 may co-operate with thedust suction chamber 2 to form a closed space which is disposed at an almost vacuum state. - Thus, after the
blast 25 is started, the suction force produced by theblast 25 may achieve the optimum effect, so that thechips 41 produced by the workpieces worked on the multiplenet plates 12 may be sucked downward and may be carried to thefilter net 3. Thus, thechips 41 may be adhered on thefilter net 3, thereby achieving the effect of collecting chips and dust. - It is appreciated that, when the
filter net 3 is inserted into the receivingspace 22, thefilter net 3 may co-operate with theoblique plate 28, so that thefilter net 3 may be positioned in place by theoblique plate 28. Thus, when theblast 25 is started to evacuate the air contained in thedust suction chamber 2, thefilter net 3 may be securely positioned in place by the suction force of theblast 25 as shown in FIG. 7. In addition, when theblast 25 is not operated, thefilter net 3 is rested on the wall of the receivingspace 22 in an oblique manner as shown in FIG. 6, thereby facilitating replacement of thefilter net 3. - Referring to FIG. 8, the work table in accordance with the present invention further comprises multiple
planar plates 121 that may be inserted into a bottom of a respective one of thenet plates 12 as shown in FIGS. 11-13. After theplanar plate 121 is closely bonded on thenet plate 12, theblast 25 mounted in thedust suction chamber 2 may blow and carry the air outward to produce a suction force. Thus, theplanar plate 121 is closely bonded on thenet plate 12, so that the original power may produce a more collective effect without having to additionally increase the power, so that thefragments 4 andchips 41 may be moved and collected more rapidly and efficiently. - Referring to FIGS.8-10, the work table in accordance with the present invention further comprises a
cable 33 mounted on thefilter net 3 for pulling thefilter net 3 upward, and ahandle 34 mounted on thecable 33 for pulling thecable 33. - The receiving
space 22 is provided with twoside walls 220 each formed with acircular hole 222 and anelongated slot 221. Anangled plate 31 having an L-shaped cross-section is slidably mounted between the twoside walls 220 of the receivingspace 22, and has two ends each formed with acircular hole 32. Thefilter net 3 is mounted on theangled plate 31 to move therewith and located between the twoside walls 220 of the receivingspace 22. Thecable 33 has two ends each in turn passed through thecircular hole 222 and theelongated slot 221 of a respective one of the twoside walls 220 of the receivingspace 22 and each passed through and secured in thecircular hole 32 of one of the two ends of theangled plate 31. Thus, thefilter net 3 and theangled plate 31 may be pulled upward by thecable 33. - In such a manner, when the
filter net 3 is filled with thechips 41, thenet plates 12 may be removed from theframe 11, and thehandle 34 may be pulled upward to pull thecable 33 which moves theangled plate 31 upward, so that thefilter net 3 and theangled plate 31 may be pulled upward by thecable 33 to move upward from the position as shown in FIG. 9 to the position as shown in FIG. 10. At this time, thefilter net 3 is still received in the receivingspace 22. Then, thefilter net 3 may be shaken to touch theside walls 220 of the receivingspace 22, so that thechips 41 may largely fall down into thedust collection drawer 19. - Referring to FIG. 14, the work table having the function of collecting dust or the like in accordance with another embodiment of the present invention further comprises a safety switch set5 mounted on the
body 1, ahandgrip 29 mounted on theguard net 27, and a roller set 6 mounted on the bottom of thebody 1. - Referring to FIG. 15, the roller set6 is undefined.
- Referring to FIG. 16, the
dust collection drawer 19 is mounted on the back side of thebody 1. - Although the invention has been explained in relation to its preferred embodiment as mentioned above, it is to be understood that many other possible modifications and variations can be made without departing from the scope of the present invention. It is, therefore, contemplated that the appended claim or claims will cover such modifications and variations that fall within the true scope of the invention.
