  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
  • This Lotion Applicator, our new design, is created to help lotion an individual's dry back, especially for those hard to reach areas of the back. Our Lotion Applicator can be used to lotion other parts of the body, based on the need/desire of the individual. The Lotion Applicator's primary purpose/use is for an individual to apply/put lotion on the sponge then rub it on the back, as if it were a bath brush. During the evaluating stage, a brand of lotion with good texture that works well with this Lotion Applicator is called “Suave,” that normally comes in a squeeze bottle. [0007]
  • After an individual use the Lotion Applicator, they can decide to put away the Lotion Applicator without rinsing it or they can rinse it by pulling the sponge out of the base when needed or based on desire. It is recommended that when rinsing that most of the water hit the front of the sponge (rinse the front side of sponge) and not the backside where the Velcro is stationary. After rinsing is complete the individual should always squeeze the sponge in their hand to drain excess water then return the sponge to the applicator base, which is lined in Velcro, then put away the Lotion Applicator for next time use. [0008]
  • The Lotion Applicator handle and round base is made out of wood. The length of the handle is measured at 14 inches and the round base is measured at 3 inches with a depth of 0.5 inches with Velcro glued inside. The Lotion Applicator handle is attached to the back of the Lotion Applicator round base by using 2 Phillip screws measured at 0.5 inches long. The screws are positioned at the bottom of the Lotion Applicator handle and in the middle of the Lotion Applicator round base. The top of the Lotion Applicator handle has a hole where the string goes for hanging on door handles, etc. The sponge comes in multicolor and is measured at 3 inches round and a height of 1.5 inches. The sponge type is Hydrohilic. This sponge type allows the lotion to soak in for an even spread of the lotion on the back. [0009]
