Description

    FIELD OF THE INVENTION
  • The present invention relates to a soft pack made from foam material and includes a base and a cover which has one end adhered to the base. [0001]
  • BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • A conventional pack for receiving stationery such as pencils is made by two plastic parts which are pivotally connected with each other and the base has a receiving space for receiving the pencils. The plastic parts are stiff and easily to be broken by impact and the tip of pencils could break when the pack is shaken because of the stiff of the parts. Some packs are made by fabric which is soft and easily to stored and carried. Nevertheless, the fabric is too thin and the tips of pencils often penetrate through the fabric and hurt the users. [0002]
  • SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • In accordance with one aspect of the present invention, there is provided a pack which comprises a base having a first decoration plate and a first peripheral wall extends from the base. A head portion is connected to an end of the base. A cover has a second decoration plate connected thereto and a second peripheral wall extends therefrom. An opening is defined through the second peripheral wall so that the head portion is engaged with the opening. The second decoration plate in the opening is adhered on the head portion. The second peripheral wall is engaged on an outer periphery of the first peripheral wall. [0003]
  • The primary object of the present invention is to provide a pack made of foam material and has a decoration feature. [0004]
  • The present invention will become more obvious from the following description when taken in connection with the accompanying drawings which show, for purposes of illustration only, a preferred embodiment in accordance with the present invention.[0005]
  • BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
  • FIG. 1 is a perspective view to show the pack of the present invention; [0006]
  • FIG. 2 is a cross sectional view to show the two respective peripheral walls of the base and the cover of the pack are engaged with each other; [0007]
  • FIG. 3 is an exploded view to show the pack of the present invention, and [0008]
  • FIG. 4 is a perspective view to show the cover of the pack of the present invention is at its open position.[0009]
  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT
  • Referring to FIGS. [0010] 1 to 4, the pack of the present invention comprises a base 10 having a first decoration plate 11 connected to a bottom thereof and a first peripheral wall 12 extends from the base 10. A head portion 13 is connected to an end of the base 10 and the first decoration plate 11 has a lug 15 extending therefrom.
  • A [0011] cover 20 has a second decoration plate 22 connected thereto and a second peripheral wall 21 extends from the cover 20. An opening 200 is defined through the second peripheral wall 21 so that the head portion 13 is engaged with the opening 200. The second decoration plate 21 in the opening 200 is adhered on the head portion 13 so that the cover 20 is able to be opened relative to the base 10 as shown in FIG. 4. The second decoration plate 21 has a lug 25 extending therefrom which is located in opposite to the lug 25 on the cover 20. The second peripheral wall 21 is engaged on an outer periphery of the first peripheral wall 12 when the cover 20 is mounted onto the base 10 to close the pack. Stationery such as pencils can be received in the space 14 defined by the second peripheral wall 12.
  • The [0012] base 10 and the cover 20 have proper thickness and are made of foam material or the like so that they are light in weight and the tips of pencils do not penetrate through the base 10 and the cover 20. The lugs 15, 25 are helpful when opening the cover 20.
  • While we have shown and described the embodiment in accordance with the present invention, it should be clear to those skilled in the art that further embodiments may be made without departing from the scope of the present invention. [0013]
