Description
- The present invention relates to a soft pack made from foam material and includes a base and a cover which has one end adhered to the base.
- A conventional pack for receiving stationery such as pencils is made by two plastic parts which are pivotally connected with each other and the base has a receiving space for receiving the pencils. The plastic parts are stiff and easily to be broken by impact and the tip of pencils could break when the pack is shaken because of the stiff of the parts. Some packs are made by fabric which is soft and easily to stored and carried. Nevertheless, the fabric is too thin and the tips of pencils often penetrate through the fabric and hurt the users.

A head portion is connected to an end of the base. A cover has a second decoration plate connected thereto and a second peripheral wall extends therefrom. An opening is defined through the second peripheral wall so that the head portion is engaged with the opening. The second decoration plate in the opening is adhered on the head portion. The second peripheral wall is engaged on an outer periphery of the first peripheral wall.
- The primary object of the present invention is to provide a pack made of foam material and has a decoration feature.
- The present invention will become more obvious from the following description when taken in connection with the accompanying drawings which show, for purposes of illustration only, a preferred embodiment in accordance with the present invention.
- FIG. 1 is a perspective view to show the pack of the present invention;
- FIG. 2 is a cross sectional view to show the two respective peripheral walls of the base and the cover of the pack are engaged with each other;
- FIG. 3 is an exploded view to show the pack of the present invention, and
- FIG. 4 is a perspective view to show the cover of the pack of the present invention is at its open position.
- Referring to FIGS.1 to 4, the pack of the present invention comprises a
base 10 having afirst decoration plate 11 connected to a bottom thereof and a firstperipheral wall 12 extends from thebase 10. Ahead portion 13 is connected to an end of thebase 10 and thefirst decoration plate 11 has alug 15 extending therefrom. - A
cover 20 has asecond decoration plate 22 connected thereto and a secondperipheral wall 21 extends from thecover 20. Thesecond decoration plate 21 has alug 25 extending therefrom which is located in opposite to thelug 25 on thecover 20. The secondperipheral wall 21 is engaged on an outer periphery of the firstperipheral wall 12 when thecover 20 is mounted onto thebase 10 to close the pack. Stationery such as pencils can be received in thespace 14 defined by the secondperipheral wall 12. - The
base 10 and thecover 20 have proper thickness and are made of foam material or the like so that they are light in weight and the tips of pencils do not penetrate through thebase 10 and thecover 20. Thelugs cover 20. - While we have shown and described the embodiment in accordance with the present invention, it should be clear to those skilled in the art that further embodiments may be made without departing from the scope of the present invention.
