What I claim as new and desire to secure by Letters Patent is:

1. A dispensing xture for paper rolls and the like, comprising a base having an apertured wall, spaced roll-supporting brackets on said base for receiving a roll therebetween, at least one of said brackets being swingable with respect to the base, and a spring engaging said base and having retractable legs projecting forwardly through said base and connected to said bracket for urging said swingable bracket toward the roll.

2. A dispensing xture for paper rolls and the like, comprising a base having an apertured wall, spaced roll-supporting brackets on said base for receiving a roll therebetween, at least one of said brackets being swingable with respect to the base, and a spring engaging said base and having legs projecting forwardly through said base and provided with hooked ends pivotally engaging said swingable bracket for urging said bracket toward the roll.

A dispensing iixture for paper rolls and the like, comprising a base having an apertured wall, spaced roll-supporting brackets on said base for receiving a roll therebetween, at least one of said brackets being swingable with respect to the base, and a spring engaging said base and having legs projecting forwardly through said base and provided with end portions pivotally connected to said bracket for urging said swingable bracket toward the roll.

A dispensing fixture for paper rolls and thev like, comprising a base having a wall with aligned slots, spaced roll-supporting brackets on said base for receiving a roll therebetween, at least one of said brackets being swingable with respect to said base, and a wire spring engaging said base and having legs projecting forwardly through said slots and provided with hooked ends pivotal- 1y engaging said swingable bracket for urging said bracket toward the roll, said legs being disposed at opposite ends of said slots for confining said legs against lateral shifting.

5. A dispensing xture for paper rolls and the like, comprising a base, spaced roll-supporting brackets on said base for receiving a roll therebetween, at least one of said brackets being swingable with respect to said'base, and a bracket securing spring engaging said base and having portions pivotally engaging said bracket for holding said bracket on said base and for urging said swingable b racket toward the roll.
