IMPROVEMENT IN CLOTHES-DRIERS.
Specification forming part of Letters Patent No. l 99,958, dated February 5, 1878 application filed November 26, 1877.

Be it known that I, LEVI G. OATTELL, of Cleveland, in the county of Cuyahoga and State of Ohio, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Clothes-Frames; and I do hereby declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description of the invention, such as will enable others skilled in the art to which it pertains to make and use it, reference being had to the accompanying` drawings, which form part of this specification.
My invention relates to a new and useful improvement in clothes-trames designed for drying clothes, and for otherlike purposes; and consists in the combination of devices and appliances as hereinafter set forth and claimed.
In the drawings, Figure l presents a view, partly in section, which illustrates my invention. Fig. 2 is a section showing the construction of the hinges.
A, B, and C are the leaves of a clothesframe, and there may be more or less of said leaves. What I claim is- A clothes-frame consisting of two or more hinged leaves, A B C, and extension sections A B C', the bars of the extension section being made to pass through openings in the'uprights of the hinged leaves, and vice versa, substantially as and for the purposes described.
