It is believed from the above description that those skilled in the art will have no difiiculty in understanding the construction, the method of use and operation of the device herein disclosed and a further detailed discussion thereof is/unnecessary. The invention is of simple and practical construction and is adapted to accomplish .among others all of the objects and advantages herein set forth.

Without further analysis, the foregoing will so fully reveal the gist of this invention that others can by applying current knowledge readily adapt it for various applications without omitting certain features, that, from the standpoint of the prior art, fairly constitute essential characteristics of the generic or specific aspects of this invention, and therefore, such adaptations should and are intended to be comprehended within the meaning and range of equivalency of the following claims: I I

I claim:--

1. An eyelash curler comprising two members having upwardly and downwardly curved coacting-jaws, one of said members having lateral arms extending from its said jaw, said arms being bent angularly inward to meet one another and then extending parallelly downward and then bending outwardly, upwardly and inwardly to form a loop to provide a finger hold, the other of said members having open loops located substantially at the extremities of its said jaw and over said first member, said second member having arms extending downwardly from said open loops and bending angularly inward to meet one another and then extending parallelly downward a distance greater than the arms of said first member and then bending outwardly, upwardly and inwardly to form a loop to provide a finger hold, a U-shaped resilient member secured to one of said jaws, and a guide for facilitating up and down parallel movement of said members.

2. An eyelash curler comprising two members having upwardly and downwardly curved meeting jaws, one of said members having lateral arms extending from its said jaw, said-arms converging and then extending parallelly downward and then bending outwardly, upwardly and inwardly to form a loop to provide a finger hold, the other of said members having open loops located substantially at the extremities of its said jaw and over said first member, said second member having arms converging from said open loops and extending parallelly downward and then bending outwardly. upwardly and inwardly to form a loop to provide a finger'hold, a resilient member secured to one of said jaws, and a guide for facilitating up and down parallel movement of said members.
