I claim as my invention 1. A device of the class described comprisingpa body, a crank shaft journaled .on the under side thereof, wheels on said crank ishaft, pinions carried by the crank shaft, gear wheels in mesh with said pinions, a shafton which the gear wheels are carried, means journaling the .latter shaft'from .the body, pitmen on the outerside of and connected to the gear wheels, manually operable Vlevers pivoted to the body and tothe pitmen,:pitmen inwardly of the gear wheels connected tothe cranks, and pedals pivotedto the Abody and .to the latter pitmen-forwardly of said levers.
