IMPROVEMENT IN LUBRICATING BOTTLES.
Specification forming part of Letters Patent N 0. 185,180, dated December 12,1876; application filed March 9, 1876.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, CHARLTON JONES, of the city, county, and State of New York, have invented a new and useful Improvement in Lubricating-Bottles; and I hereby declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description thereof, reference being bad to the accompanyin g drawin g, t'ormin g a part of this specifi cation, in which a bottle is shown that may be of any suitable size and configuration, but having its neck of sufficient length for the necessary movement of a piston therein.
A is a discharge tube or nozzle, having a piston, 0, attached to its lower end, s. piston being of a diameter to move freely within the neck of the bottle, and yet prevent the oil from passing outside its periphery. B is a stopper fitting snugly in the neck, and provided with a central opening for the tube A to pass through and allow for its movement therein.
