Heretofore, envelopes adapted to contain matter for transfer thereof either between oiiices or between distantpoints through the inail or otherwise have :beenxsuch that they might ,on-'ly be .used one.r or, at leas t,` a .relaftively few times inasmuch :as .no-meanshave beenrprovided thereby thefaddresses of the sender and receiver and vice versa ymight .beused overand'overfagain selectively."

Referring to the drawings and the preceding description, it will be seen that I have provided a device of the above type embodying numerous novel and advantageous features. For instance, I have provided an envelope or container having a plurality of address spaces permanently lixed thereon which may contain permanent addresses together with an envelope or container embodying a flap or closure so constructed that either of the permanent address spaces or addresses may be selectively disclosed whereby the envelope or container may be repeatedly 'used for correspondence or communication between two parties.` T his is particularly iin-.

portant as an item of saving` where a plurality of parties permanently located carry on a great deal of correspondence or communication inasmuch as the only limitation on an envelope or container constructed in accordance with Viny invention is the wear which would render the envelope or container as a whole useless as a receptacle for correspondence or matter.

What I claim is:

l. An article of manufacture comprising an envelope embodying a main body portion having an address space thereon, a flap or closure having an opening therein through which the said address space is normally visible when the flap is in closed position, and an address space on the under side of said flap, said flap being movable into or out of open or closed position and selectively foldable to cover the address space on said main body portion and present the address space on said iiap when in closed position. An article. of manufacture comprising an envelope embodying a main body portion having an address space thereon, a" flap or closure having an opening therein through fwhich the said address space is normally visible when'the flap is in closed position, an address space on the under side of said flap, said flap being movable into or out of open or closed position and selectively foldable to cover the address space on said main body portion and present the address space on said flap when in closed position, and means for securing said flap in said positions consisting of a flexible member having one end in fixed position on one side of said flap and a member fixed on said main body portion to which said flexible member maybe removably secured. An article of manufacture comprising an envelope embodying a forward wall having an address space thereon, a rearward wall, a flap or closure having jan opening therein through which the address space on said forward wall is visible when the flap is in closed position, and an address space on the side of said flap when in open position corresponding to the forward wall of said envelope, said flap being selectively foldable to present the address space thereon through the opening in said flap and cover the address space on said forward wall normally visible through the opening in said flap when said Hap is in closed position.

An article of manufacture comprising an envelope embodying a forward wall having an address space thereon, a rearward wall, a flap or closure having an opening therein through which the address space on said forward wall is visible when the flap is in closed position, an address space on the side of said flap when in open position corresponding to the forward wall of said envelope, said flap being selectively foldable to present the address space thereon through the opening in said flap and cover the address space on said forward wall normally visible through the openingy in said flap when said flap is in closed position, and means for securing said flap inv said positions consisting of a flexible member having one end in fixed position on one side of said flap and a member fixed on said main body portion to which said flexible member may be removably secured.
