Oscillation of the bracket causes vertical movement of the arms 26 and bar 27 which carries the suction blocks. The link 32 serves to guide the suction blocks along an arc of sufficiently slight curvature that they move vsubstantially parallel to the axis of the stack While withdrawing the envelope, whereas the bracket and arms vcause oscillation of the blocksalternately to present theirfupper faces .y

A carrier 40 is slidably mounted on the frame and is provided with a rack 41 which meshes with a segmental gear 42 carried by" theshaft 43. An arm 44 is mounted on the shaft 43 and to the end of this ,arml is connected one end of a linkf46, the other end,` l of which is connected to a crank pin 47'carried by the gear 48. Rotation of this gear edects oscillation of Vthe shaft y4,8 thereby causing reciprocation of the carrier `40.
