Said detachable means connect the straps at said end ofthe support to said support each independently of the others, as set forth in my copending application Serial Y No 74,108, filed herewith, to which reference may be had for fuller description, if desired. Briefly, each of the straps 5, 6 and 7 is provided at its end next the support 4 with a member 32 adapted -to separably engage a jcooperating member 33 on thev support,

By .my present improved adjusting means, wholly within the body portion of the garment, perfect adjustment of the support canbe made with it fully exposed and open to view before the body rportion is closed, and great comfort obtained. VThen when said body portion is closed it Covers the support and if properly adjusted bythe lacings 2, 2 reinforces it, the outward appearancev in no way disclos-Y ing the support. l Y j VVhileI lhave shown my improvements as appliedto a corset brassire, this has been done for convenience only, and ofcourse they can be employed with corsets and similar garments of any kind to which they vare applicable. Also, various modifications may be made in manufacturing said improvements, without' departing from the spirit and scope ofthe invention, and therefore l'V do not` desire to be understood as limiting myself lexcept Vasrequired by the `following claims when .construed inthe lightpof the vprior art.V Y L y Having thus described the invention, what I claim is: Y

1. The combination in a corsetor similar garment having an inside abdominal support, of a flap at the inside of the garment and the-inside of the garment.

2. The combination in acorset or similar garment having an abdominal support, of a llap secured at one edge to Athe body" ofthe garment and having its opposite edge free andV projecting. toward said support, an attaching-piece sew'ed upon4 the free portion of said flap at a distance from-its securedv edge, and adjusting fasteners for the support secured Vto said p attachingpiece' .by means independent of the stitching securing the attaching piece to the flap,whereby said fastenerscan withoutdisturbing their relations to each other beY shifted as a whole upon the flap by removing the attaching piece and replacing it.
