Specification forming part of Letters Patent No. 176,847, dated May 2, 1876 application filed February 14, 1876.
To all whom it may concern:
Be, it known that 1,'HENR-Y H. ELBREG, 0f Greenfield, in the county of Hancock and State of Indiana, have invented a new and Improved Writing-Desk, of which the following is a specification:
The invention consists in constructing and putting together the several parts of a writing-desk, as hereinafter more particularly described.
Figure lis a perspective view of my improved desk, and Fig. 2 is a sectional elevation.
Similar letters of reference indicate corresponding parts.
A is a cabinet, having doors B opening on the front side, and containing revolving bookracks K and .a fall-leaf writing-table, 0, said table being pivoted at D, and at the middle of the end, or thereabout, connected, by bar E, with lever F, which swings out support G for the table automatically, when the table is let down. for use, said lever being connected to the supports by bar H, and the lever and the support being pivoted to the case at I J.
In this example only one support is shown for the table, but in practice two will be used, one at each end.
The revolving racks may be fitted for books HENRY H. ELBREG.
