The principal object of the invention is to provide a stamp of the changeable type as set forth, that is composed of rubber in all 5-co1nr1binaticn and arrangement of the several parts, to be hereinafter fully described, illustrated in the accompanying drawings and specifically pointed out in the appended time ring is similar with-the'exception of claim.

ring whichfis shouldered to secure said disk to the body and is mounted for rotation on thedisk and said ring is formedwith an annular recess having a fiat bottom wall 9 and downwardly tapered upper wall 10 so] as to accommodate a like shape flange 11 formed on the body as best shown in Figure 4c of the drawings.

The numerals" formed on the upper surface of the ring are arranged on a raised portion 12 and cooperating with these last mentioned numerals is a finger 13 which is integrally formedwith- IUD e5 which is provided with an annular flange 7* I Y the body 1 and projects therefrom in a manner to overlie the figures in the rotation of the rings, so that the stamp can be set without referring to the stamping surface there- The numerals formed on the bottom of the rings are disposed upon the surface of a depending portion 14 and extending outwardly from the raised portion 12 and depending portion 14 is a ribbed flange 15 which provides a gripping surface so that the stamp can be set with very little effort on the part of the operator.
The disk 6 may be provided with any words desired, but in the present instance the word Received is formed on the bot tom surface of the disk together with a pointer which is indicated by the reference numeral 16. The pointer cooperates with thenumerals on the lower face of the rings and is of course aligned with the finger 13 for the obvious purpose'of pointing to the number set on the stamp. The disk 6 is also provided with a groove 17 which may receive rubber type bearing legends P. M. or A. M. when the ring bearing the time numerals is associated with the body, but
of course when the ring bearing thenumerals of the month is arranged on the body, the slot 17 is adapted to have arranged thereintype which bear the name of the monthandthe year.
The upper surface of thebody 1 is slightly raised and this raised portion is provided with a fiat upper surface which surrounds the projection 3 and is adapted to accommodate the lower surface of the handle 18 which is formed from wood and includes a recess to receive the projection 3, and the handle is secured to the body through the 'instrumentality of a screw 19 passing through the bores at and embedded in the handle as best shown in Figure l of the drawings. The screw 19 is of the usual kerfed head variety and is provided with a washer 20 so that the head will not damage the body 1 in fixing the same to the handle. From the above description and disclosure of the drawings, it will be obvious that l the stamp which forms the subject matter of the present invention is extremely simple in'construction, and is adjustable and interchangeable so that it is capable of stampmg the t me and date in a clear manner notwithstanding the faot that the stamp ineludes a wooden handle which of course adds to its strength and makes the same substantially rigid whereby it can be easily handled and prolongs the life of the stamp as will be readily apparent.
It is thought from the foregoing description that the advantages and novel features of my invention will be readily apparent.
I desire it to be understood that I may make changes in the construction and in the combination and arrangement of the several parts, provided that such changes fall within the scope of the appended claim;
