Application filed January 27, 1927.
This invention is designed to improve receptacles, particularly the type of receptacles similar to waste bask and is directed more particularly to securing corner plates to such baskets so as to prevent the mar-ring of tnrniture by any cx 'iosed corners of the receptacle.
A preferred embodiment of the invention is illustrated in the aconipanying drawings as follows Fig.1 shows a perspective view of the receptecle.

A top plate 5 has a flange (3 extending down 'ardly along. the adjacent faces of the sides of the receptacle at the corner and is secured to these sides by spot welding. A bottom plate 8 has a flange 9 extending downwardly alone; the outer faces of the sides and this thing-e is secured to the sides by spot welding.
