i The object of my invention is to provide a wringer of simple, durable and inexpensive construction, having one of the wringer rolls adjustably and yieldably mount-ed relative to the other in such a manner that a considarable amount of movement is provided hetween said rollers, and in connection therewith to provide means whereby the said rollers may be easily and quickly thrown out of operative relation with each other.
My invention consists in the construction, arrangement and combination of the various parts of the device, whereby the objects eontemplated are attained, as hereinafter more fully set forth, pointed oua in my claims, and illustrated in the accompanying drawings, in which:

Referring to Figure 2, it will be seen that the lever 35 is placed at a position where it inclines slightly below the horizontal, and that the discs are so adjusted relative to said lever that the inner ends of the levers 36 will he moved to an elevated position and the block 26 caused to engage the lower ends of the sleeves 21 and to slide said sleeves mp wardly through the block 16 in such a man ner thatthe roller 25 will be separated a considerable distance from the roller 19. This is the normal position of the wringer rolls when not in use.
When it is desired to operate the wringer, the lever 'is swung from position illustrated in Figure 2, to the osition shown in Figures 1 and 3, which w1ll cause the discs 33 to be rotated and the shaft 34 to be lowered, which in turn will cause the inner ends of the levers .36 to be lowered and the bars 26 and the roller25 lowered until the said tively lar e amount of yieldable movement whileun er tension between the wringer rollers, permittin heavy pieces of material,

It will be seen that the tension between the said'wringer rollers may be almost instantly released by simply throwing the upper end of the handle 35 outwardly, which will not only release thetension but will also throw the upper wringer roller away from the lower wringer roller, permitting any articles to be conveniently and quickly removed.
. The slots 41 are of such length, and arranged in such manner, that when the lever 1 25 is in vertical position, the shaft 34 will I engage the outer end of the slot, the disc be-' ing arranged in such position that the tenlever 35 s'ion on the levers 36 and the springs 29 will cause the said shaft 34 to be rotated toward the end of said slot, therebysupporting the ermanently in a vertical position without the use of catches or similar devices. In other words, the shaft 34 is mounted in such a'manner as to slightly pass the center of the disc 33. By this arrangement it will be seen that the tension on the roller 25 may be instantly released without having to release any catch device, as has heretofore been the practice. Such catches usually stick or in some other way become inoperative.
Thus it will be seen that I have pro 'ided a wringer of simple, durable and inexpensive construction, in which the rollers are yieldably supported relative to each other in such a manner that a considerable amount of movement is provided for receiving goods of various thicknelses, and provided with means phersby the tension may be, instantly reease sleeves, means for movin This application is a substitute for my previously abandoned application v50,945 which was filed Aug. 18,1925.
I claim as my invention:
1. A wringer comprising a frame, a roller rotatively mounted therein, a second frame member adapted to move toward and from the first said frame member, a roller in said second frame member, yieldable means for moving the first frame member toward the second frame member, means for movin said first frame member from the second rame member against said yieldable means, comprisingashaft having a pair of eccentricall mounted disks, a lever secured to said she t and nieans for operatively connecting said eccentrics with said frames in such a manner that as the lever is operated and the shaft rotated the said frame members will be separated.

A wringer comprising a horizontal frame member, each edge of which is provided with a downwardly and outwardly extending flange, each end of said frame member being provided with a pair of vertical openings, a second frame member above the first said frame member, having each end provided with a tending sleeves sli ably mounted within the openings of the first frame member, a
