My invention relates to a garment support, such as for trousers or skirts, and has forits object the provision of a device of'the character designated which shall be adapted to hold such a garment in proper relation with a shirt or shirt waist.
A' more particular object of my invention is to provide a device of the character designated which shall be adapted to hold a shirt or shirt waist down and trousers or skirt in their proper position with-rela- 7 line II-II of Fig. 1 and showing the device engagedwith the garment of the wearer;

Referring to the drawing, particularly to Figs. land 2, my invention may comprise a one piece metal member having an upper clasp portion 10 and a lower hook portion 11.-
' The clasp portion 10 is formed by bending the metal over from one side against itself so as to receive the folds of a shirt or shirt waist 12.. In order that the shirt or shirt waist maybe firmly held by the clasp portion, I provide corrugations 13 for the clasp, preferably on the rear portion thereof so as to leave the front clear to provide a place for a monogram 14.
The lower hook portion 11 of the device is Fig. 2 is a sectional view taken along the formed by bending upwardly the. lower end thereof as at 16 so as to accommodate a belt or strap 17 for holding the garment up.
Referring now to Figs. 3 and 4, I show a modified form of my invention wherein there is provided a clasp portion 21 similar to the clasp portion 10, already described, and provided with a lowerslot 22 to accommodate a hinge 23 which may be made of metaljor fabric as desired and which is coupled, at its otherend, with a hook portion 24 separate from the clasp portion 21 and provided with a similar slot 26 to accommodate the hinge 23. The hook 24 is similar in all other details to the hook portion 1.1 of thed'evice" shown in Figs. 1 and 2.
While I have shownmy invention in but, two forms, it will be obvious to those skilled in the art that it is not so limited, but is susceptible'of various other changes and modifications, Without departing from the spirit thereof, and I'desire, therefore, that only such limitations shall be placed thereupon as are imposed by the prior art or as are specifically set forth in the appended claims.
