The present invention relates to certain new and useful improvements in window screen. constructions and among the objects of my invention are the following 6 To provide a screen which may be easily and cheaply made and which'will be of last ing duration.

To afford an integral screen frame having a smooth surface with no protruding bolts or parts so that two screens may slide against each other without obstruction, thus providing efficient extensible screens.
A further .object of my invention is to provide an efiicient means for holding the screen cloth to the frame in which a clamping memberpressed against the rolleddull edge on four edges of the molding to force the same into position to hold the screen cloth securely in place, and such other ad-' vantages, objects and capabilities as will later more fully appear.
My invention further resides in the construction, combination and arrangement of -parts illustrated in the accompanying draw lugs, and while I have shown therein a preferred embodiment of my invention, I Wish I 36 it understood that the same is susceptible of modification and change without departing fromthe spiritof my invention.

In assembling, the screen-cloth 2 is placed over the rolled dull edge 3 of the molding land is inserted into the molding a suitable distance as clearly shown in Fig. 3. The leg 4 is then pressed down against the rolled dull edge 3 by any suitable pressing means so as to hold the screen cloth 2 securely in place as clearly shown in Fig. 4. have eliminated the need for clamps, bolts v or the like so that the surface of the frame is smooth and unobstructed. This smooth surface of the frame makes practical the use of my invention in extensible screens 5 slidable on each other as shown in Figs. 5, 6, 7
and, 8, in which flanged lugs 6 formed on one of the frame-members slide in slots 7 for slidably connecting these partsmaybe used ifdesired.
