This invention has reference to certain new and useful improvements in brick machines and pertains more particularly 4to a brick machine for ornamenting the surface or surfaces of the brick.
The principal object of the invention is to provide a brick machine which has novel and improved means for .ornamenting the surface of the brick by roughening same, and
,more especially to pick out particles of the clay by means of a device which latter is positively rotated during the feeding and pressing of the clay and which carries a plurality ofl picking elementsthemselves bodily movable with the device, but capable of rotation or movement independently of the device.
A further object of the invention is to provide a device of this'character which may be easily applied to existing types of brick machines andvr properly ladjusted Arelative That theinvention may be more fully understood, reference is had tothe accompanying drawings `forming a part of the present description'vand illustrating a preferred embodiment of the invention, in which;-
