This invention relates to neckties, the invention having more particular reference to ready made ties.

The invention has for an object to provide a novel form of attaching means for ready made tie, that will facilitate the attachment and removal of the tie, while at the same time serving to hold the tie properly positioned on the collar.

For further comprehension of the invention, and ot the objects and advantages thereot, reference will be had to the tollowing description and accon'ipanying drawinn. and to the appended claim in which the various novel, features of the invention are more particularly set forth.

As shown in Fig. 1 a band 12 of cloth or like material is passed through a suitable slot or slit formed in the said back portion oi. the element 10.
