IMPROVEMENT IN COMBINED LOOKING-GLASSES AND PHOTOGRAPHIC FRAMES.

Specification forming part of Letters Patent No. 153,283, dated July 21, 1874; application filed April 11, 1574.

To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that I, ISAAC N. SHATTO, of Newport, Perry county, Pennsylvania, have invented a new and useful Improvement in Combined Looking-Glass and Photographic Frame, of which the following is a specification: 4

Fig. 1 is a front view of my improved device; and Fig. 2 is a cross-section of the same, taken through the line a; 00, Fig. 1.

My invention has for its object to combine, with a'looking-glass, a receptacle for photographs, family records, 850., and which shall be so constructed as to prevent them from being seen and handled, and keep them from the dust, and which may lie-applied to looking glasses ofany desired size.

The invention will first be fully described, and then pointed out in the claim.

A represents the inner or border frame, which is hinged to the outer or main frame B, and is provided with a catch or button, a, for securing it when closed. The hinged frame A has the glass 0 inserted in it, and is pro vided with a back, D, which is covered with velvet E, or other suitable material.
