Application filed February 12, 1924.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that we, ARIo C. WALKER and lVrLLrAM R. YOUNG, citizens of the United States of America, residing at 55 Haddon Street, Bridgeport, Conn, and 82 Grasemere Avenue, Fair-field, in the county of F airfield and State of Connecticut, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Hose Guides, of which the following is a specification.
This invention relates to a hose guide such as is used for supplying air to automobile tires, among the objects of the invention being the provision of a device of this character which is simple in construction and quite convenient and by which the hose will be always guided properly for use. A feature of the invention is a bracket which can be inexpensively stamped from one piece by the aid of suitable dies.
In the drawing accompanying and forming part of the present specification, we have shown in detail a form of embodiment of the invention which will be set forth in detail in the following description to enable those skilled in the art to practice the invention. e are not restricted to this showing. e may depart therefrom in several particulars within the scope of the invention defined by the claims following said description.

Like characters refer to like parts throughout the several views.
In Fig. 1 of the drawing we have represented a cabinet which is denoted in a gen eral way by 2. This cabinet supports on a door, as 3, at its front a bracket, such as that denoted in a general way by 4 and shown in detail in Fig. 7.

The bracket 4 has upon its upper side the lugs or cars 5 which over-lie the upper side of the door, the body of the bracket having through it several perforations or holes as 6, through which screws may be passed to attach the bracket to the door, as represented in Fig. 1. Through the body of the bracket 4 is formed a. wide slot or opening, such as 7, and which functions, as will be hereinafter set forth.
As a matter of fact, we prefer to form the bracket 4 in a single piece by stamping it with the aid of suitable dies from sheet metal stock. From the lower wall of the opening 7 there may extend downward a roller receiving slot, such as 8.
In said slot 8 is mounted a horizontal roller, as 9, which is mounted between the lugs 10, which extend backwardly from the side walls of the slot 7. These lugs 9 support between them the pin or stud 11 upon which turns the roller 9 which obviously rotates in the opening or slot 7 and which supports the underside of the pipe or tube 12, which may contain compressed air, water or gasoline, etc.
The lugs 5 already mentioned have on them the ears 18, which are in vertical alinement with ears, as 14, extending rearwardly from the upper side of the bottom of the slot 7. The cars 13 and 14 have through them perforations 15 which receive pins, as 16, upon which turn the vertical rollers 17 and which engage the sides of the tube 12, as shown in Fig. 1.
It should be noted that the body 4 is slit at the upper and lower portions of the sides of the slot 7 to facilitate the bending of the lugs 13 and 14 respectively. From the bottom of the slot 8 extends slits which also facilitates the bending of the ears 10.

1. The combination of a cabinet having a door, a bracket furnished with a slot extending partly down the same and also furnished with flanges over-lying the top of the door, the lower wall of the slot having a slot between the ends thereof, two vertical rollers within the sides of the slot and co extensive therewith and a third roller horizontally disposed in said second slot and located between the rollers.
2. A bracket having a slot Within it, the sides of the bracket extending rearwardly 5 therefrom and the extensions having forward lugs, the bottom of the slot having in turn a slot, the ends of which are extended rearwai'dly, said first mentioned slot hai ing rearwardly extended lugs, the Whole being formed in one piece from sheet stock. 10
