IMPROVEMENT IN COMBINED PAPRHCLIPS AND LETTER-FOLDERS.
Specification forming part of Letters Patent No. 150,3S9, dated May 5, 1874; application tiled April 16, 187i.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, VILLIAM B. BARY, of the city of Detroit, in the county of Vayne and State of Michigan, have invented certain new and useful Improvements. in Combined Paper-Oli p and Letter-Folder; and I do hereby declare that the following is a full, clear, and exact description thereof, which will enable others skilled in the art to which it pertains to make and use the same, reference being had to the accompanying drawings and to the letters of reference marked thereon, which form a part of this specification.
The object of my invention is to supply a .convenient file for holding, by means of a spring-clamp fastened to a platform, the paper to be written upon, and while being written upon, combined with a form over Vwhich the letter-sheet can be folded into letter shape, as shown by the accompanying drawings, and described as follows, viz:

a represents the base or platform, b represents the spring-clip which holds the paper. 0 represents the former over which the paper is folded into shape, which, when not in use, can be thrown back upon the spring-clip b, as shown by ldotted line Z. 7c is a spring under the clip b, for keeping it in position.
What I claim as my invention7 and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-
The combination of the base a., pivoted spring-clip b, hinged former c, and guides c e.
