A work supporting table or block of my improved construction is comparatively simple, is capable ofv being easily and cheaply produced, may be advantageously Vused wherever certain pieces of work require the formation of angular cuts or faces, or the boring of holes at `predetermined angles, and said device is capable of ready adjustment and is very effective in perfoming its intended functions.
It will be readily understood that minor changes in the size, form,V number and construction of the various parts of my improved worlr supporting block or table may be made and substituted for those herein shown and described without departing from the spirit of my invention, the scope of which is set forthlin the appended claims.

An angular adjustable work supporting table comprising a relatively stationary base having an inclined upper surface, an upper member carrying a slotted work receiving surface and having an inclined lower face, means on said work receiving surface for engaging and clamping work positioned thereupon, an intermediate member mounted for rotation between said base and upper member, said intermediate niem-- ber having inclined upper and lower faces, and said intermediate member and said base and upper member having interengaging parts.

An angularly adjustable work supporting table comprising a relatively stationary base having an inclined upper surface, an upper member carrying a slotted work and receiving surface and having an inclined lower face, means on said work-receiving surface for engaging and clamping work positioned thereupon, an intermediate member mounted for rotation between said base and upper member, said intermediate member having inclined upper Vand lower faces, and said intermediate member and said baseand upper member having interengaging parts, and means for locking said upper member .and intermediate member against rotary movement relative to eachother and relative to said base.

In a device of thecclass described, a relatively fixed base having an inclined top surface, a member mounted for rotary movement on the inclined top surface of said base, said member having inclined top and bottom surfaces, an upper member supported by said rotatably mounted member and having an inclined bottom surface that cooperates with the inclined top surface of said rotatably mounted' member, and a Work` receiving plateadjustably arranged on said` upper member.

In a device of the class described, a relatively fixed base having an inclined top'l surface, a member mounted for rotary movement on the inclined top surface of said base., said member having inclined top and bottom surfaces, an upper member supported by said rotatably mounted member and 'I having an inclined bottom surface that cooperates with the inclined top surface of said rotatably mounted member, a work receiving plate adjustably arranged on said upper member, and means for locking said rotatably mounted member and said upper member against relative rotary movement-k and against rotaryV movement upon said base.

In a work supporting block comprising a base provided with an inclined upper surface, an upperV member, an intermediate member supporting said upper memberand having an inclined lower surface, and a locking block on the outside ofsaid intermediate member and cooperating with means extendby a sleeve surrounding said means andl adapted to serve as a handle. v
7. In a work supporting block comprising a bottom member and an upper member, an intermediate member adapted to be locked thereto and having inclined surfaces, said intermediate member being formed of mating halves comprising portions which overlap.V
8. In a work supporting block comprising a bottom member'and an upper member, an intermediate member adapted to be locked thereto and having inclined surfaces, said intermediate member being formed of mat'- ing halves comprising portions'which over- Y lap, and which are adapted to be secured together bythe extension of a clamping rod therethrough.
