Be it known that l, EDGAR L. Gann, a' citizen of the United States of America, and resident of the cityof Bremerton, in the county of Kitsap and AState of Washington, have invented certain neW and useful lm- .proveinents in a Display ippaiatus,v of which the following "is a specification.

lMy invention relates to display devices and particularly to `devices which are `rarranged to move a card or other articleinto `position to be seen 'readily whereby its inotion Will attract attention, and lthen" to `re turn it to its foriginalposition and to move another.

The object of my invention isv to provide a simple, cheaply constructed and conveniently installed and operated apparatus for the purpose intended.

A further object is the provision of means, in such 'a selective moving apparatus, for varying 'the succession in 'which `the articles are raised and fordoing thisconveniently and rapidly.

A further object is the` provision of means which maybe placed in anordinary show Window Without y"mutilation thereof and 'which may be employed therein to operate vselectivelycardsor articles cfa number arranged in asingle line, or to operate selectively a succession of such lines.

My invention comprises those novel parts and combinations thereof which are shown in the accompanying drawings, described in the specification, and particularly defined by the claims terminating the same.
