Description

E. HENDERSON.
CLOTHESPIN BAG.
APPLIFIATION FILED JULY 19. 1918.
1,402,355. I Patented Jan. 3,1922.
INVENTOR d/VPW ATTORNEY had to the rates EMMA BENDERSON, 0F HARPERSFIELI), NEW- YORK.
CLO 'I'HESPIN BAG.
To all whom it may concern:
' Be it known that I, EMMA HENDERSON, a citizen of the United States, residing at Harpersfield, in the county of Delaware and State of New York, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Clothespin Bags, of which the following is a specification.
My invention relates to an improvement in clothes pin bags in which the bag is mounted on an opening frame holding open the mouth of the bag, and projecting an extension line forming a hook; and its object is to provide a clothes pin bag, readily manufactured, and having a metallic frame at the mouth andso shaped as to produce two hand openings, for readily reaching the contents of the bag and at the same timeproteoting to a degree its contents, rfrom rain and snow. With these objects in view my invention consists in certain novel features of construction and arrangement of parts as will be hereinafter fully described and pointed out in the claims, reference being accompanying drawings in which I Fig, l is a perspective view of my device.
Fig. '2 is a plan view of my device.

of the bag being stitched to the wire bows or fastened in any convenient manner. In this formation of the bag mouth, two hand openings are afforded, so as to enable the contents of the interior to be readily reached and at the same time to be not so far open as to leave the contents entirely unprotected against the elements. Also the mouth of the bag is held open for the more readily reaching the contents, and also for filling with pins. The stem B is so projected as to form a hook E for suspending the bag from the line.
Having thus described my invention what I claim as new and for which I desire Letters Patent is as follows:
i. In a clothes pin bag, a body portion formed of suitable flexible material and a frame portion disposed the mouth of the bag, said frame portion comprising a pair of wire loops extending downwardly and joined together at their upper ends by V twisting of the wire, the twisted portion of the wire terminating in a hook.
2. A bag of'the class described comprising a body portion formed of suitable flexible material, and a wire frame portion formed from a single piece of wire disposed at the mouth of the bag and secured thereto, the wire of said frame being bent so as to forma pair of loops extending downwardly and joined together at their upper ends only, by twisting of the wire.
In testimony whereof I have aflixed my signature in the presence of two witnesses.
EMMA HENDERSON.
