This invention relates to a wrapped candy doll, the principal object being to wrap candy for selling purposes in a novel and attractive manner that will particularly appeal to children, and such that the wrapped candy may be played with as a doll until it is desired to eat the candy.

The invention consists in the construction, combination and arrangement of parts herein described and claimed, and illustrated in the drawings accompanying and forming part of this application.

The drawing shows a perspective elevation of a preferred embodiment of my invention, comprising a doll formed of wrapped pieces of candy.

Referring to the drawings, the body portion of the doll consists of one or more pieces of candy 1, which are preferably what are known as hard candies, being approxi mately round in shape, wrapped in pieces of paper 2, or other suitable material, of size large enough to envelop the candy, the edges of the paper being gathered together and t ists-d into tongue portions 3 arranged to be secured together preferably by cord or paper twine -42 to hold the body forming candies in position.

The head is formed by a similar round hard candy 5, wrapped in similar manner by an enveloping paper 6 with the edges of the paper twisted to form a tongue portion 7 which is bound with the tongue portions 3 of the body forming elements, preferably by the same cord 4:.

The head portion is preferably decorated by painting on the paper thereof facial feasent hair. being of any desired color. In order to obtain difierent dressing effects, the paper used is preferably transparent, or semi-transparent, so that the colorings of the candies show through, and by varying the type and color of the candies, different doll effects are produced. 1

The device remains useful as a doll until the cord 41- is removed, whereupon the component parts separate, the paper wrappings' ay be removed. and the candles are available for eating, being entirely uninjured or otherwise detrimentally affected by reason of the novel mode of wrapping.

Having now described my invention, I claim and desire to secure by Letters Patent:

3!. A wrapped candy doll comprising substantially round candies wrapped and arnnged to form body and head portions, and candy sticks wrapped and secured to the body portion to form arms and legs.

2. A wrapped candy doll comprising hard and stick candies, paper wrapped around each candy and twisted, and means securing the twisted portions together, the stick candies arranged to represent arms and legs, and the remaining candies forming the body and head.

3. A wrapped candy doll comprising substantially round candies wrapped and arranged to form body and head portions, eandysticks wrapped and secured to the body portion to form arms and legs, and decorative matter on the head portion representing hairand facial features.
