IMPROVEMENT IN PEG-FLOATS.
Specification forming part of Letters Patent No. 136,551, dated March 4, 1873.

Beit known that I, PHILIPA. SGHOELLHORN, of Bnfl'alo, in the county of Erie and State of New York, have invented a new and Improved Peg-Float, of which the following is a specification:
This invention relates to machines for removing the protruding ends of pegs from the inner surfaces of the soles of boots and shoes; and it consists in supporting and pivoting the float upon the ends of two standards, one stationary and the other adjustable, and held in position by a spring-buckle having a pin which enters holes in the standard.

The combination of the float E, adjustable standard 13, and a pivoted fastening device, 0, actuated by a spring, and having a pin which enters holes in the adjustable standard, for the purpose and substantially as described.
