IMPROVEMENT IN PEG-FLOATS.
Specification forming part of Letters Patent No. 136,551, dated March 4, 1873.
To all whom it may concern: v
Beit known that I, PHILIPA. SGHOELLHORN, of Bnfl'alo, in the county of Erie and State of New York, have invented a new and Improved Peg-Float, of which the following is a specification:
This invention relates to machines for removing the protruding ends of pegs from the inner surfaces of the soles of boots and shoes; and it consists in supporting and pivoting the float upon the ends of two standards, one stationary and the other adjustable, and held in position by a spring-buckle having a pin which enters holes in the standard.

The object of the invention is to provide a pegging-tioat which is perfectly adjustable and perfectly rigid in the positions in which it is intended to be held, and one that can be adjusted during the operation of floating a boot or shoe without removing the same.
