To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that 1,,MARVIN a citizen of the United. States,-resichng at Pueblo, in the countyof Pueblo and' State.
of- .Colorado, have invented new and useful Improvements in Kiddie-Coasters, of which the following is a specification.
This invention has reference car or coaster, and has. among its. objccts'to provide a wheeled toy with means whereby the seat .or body board thereof maybe retainedat any desired elevation with respect to the running gear so that the. toy maybe adjusted for different sized children, the construction being also such as to permit of the removal of the seat device from a car to a coaster. A furtherobject of theinvention is to produce a wheeled toy of this character which shall be of a simple but strong construction and manufactured cheaply.
Other objects and advantages will appear as the nature of the invention is betterunderstood, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, in which:

The board supporting toy will for the sake of convenience be hereinafter referred to as the running board, the same being indicated by the numeral 1. The running board is preferably wider at its rear than at its forward end, its edges being cut away at a suitable dis trance from its said rear end. On the under face of the running board 1, at the rear widened portion thereof is secured a strap 2 having angle depending ends 3. The rear brace includes a foot portion 26 that is bolted or otherwise connected to the foot'board 1, such connections being indicated by the numerals 27. From the foot arises a straight plate 28 having spaced apertures 29 and an elongated slot 80 above the said apertures. The rear brace also comprises two sections, the upper section or plate being indicated by the numeral 31,
The upper end of the end of thebrace 20 has an offset fingerQd the latter having its upper end formed with an offset portion or flange 32 that is secured as at 33 to the under face of the seat board 12. The plate 31 has a headed stud 34 that passes through the slot in the plate 28, and in addition to this a securing element preferably in the nature of a bolt 35 that passes through an opening in the plate 31 and is designed to be received in any one of the spaced openings 30 in the plate 28. The nut 35 is engaged by a bolt 36.
From the foregoing, it will be noted that the seat board maybe adjusted to any desired height with respect to the running board. the foot board and by removing the handle 11 from the steering post and likewise by removing the screw 23 that connects the flange of the front members to the seat board, the said seat board may be removed from the remainder of the construction, and by replacing the handle 11 the device may be employed as a coaster as illustrated in Fig. 4 of the drawings. 1
Having thus described the invention, what is claimed as new, is
1. In a wheeled toy for children, a running board having wheels 011 the rear there- By removing the rear brace from of, a steering post passing through the front end of the running board and having a guide wheel thereon, a brace for the steer-111g post on said running board, a seat board above the running board and receiving therethrough the steering post, removable and adjustable supporting means between the seat board and the running board, and a removable handle for the steering post.
2. In a wheeled toy for children, a running board, wheels at the rear end thereof, a steering post passing through a guide opening-in the front of the running board,
a guide wheel on the steering post, a supjusted, and a removable handle for the turning post.
