My improvement, ,as will be apparent is useful in many arts as for instance the garment art and may readily be adapted for many pin-noses. J
Various changes in the specific form shown and described may be made within the scope of the claims without departing from the spirit of my invention.
I claim:
1. The combination of a fastening device havinp a slot, a tape passing through said slot and forming a loop. the bend of which is capable of playing loosel in said slot, and means cooperating with said fastening device to maintain said bend out of contact with the wall of said slot when the tape under tension whereby said bend relieved from tensional st ain. 7
2. The con'ibination of'a fastening device having a slot, an integral extension projecting rearwardlyfrom the slotted portion of said device and provided with an aperture, a tape passing through said slot and folded back upon itself to form a loop. the bend of which is located in said slot, and a rivet extending through the folds of said tape and through said aperture, the distance between the aperture and the slot being less than the distance between the rivet andthe bend of the loop whereby the rivet under a tensional strain on the tape will engage, the wall of the aperture before said bend engages the all of the slot to relieve said bend from said tensional strain.
The combination of a tape folded upon itself to form a loop, a fastening device connected with said loop, and means passing transversely through said tape and fastening device and cooperating with the latter to maintain the bend of the loop out, of contact with said fastening device when the tape is under tension whereby said bend is relieved of tensional strain.
a testimony whereof I have hereunto set 'my hand.
ISAAC SCHEINNIAN.
