Be it known that I, HENRY N. MASSON, a citizen of the United States of America, residing at 500 West 177th Street, New York city, iii the. county of New .York and State of New York, have invented new and useful Improvements in vWindow-Screens, of which the following is a specification.
This invention relates to window screens and has particular reference to a screen con nected to and movable with a sash of the window, means being provided to maintain the. connection between the screen and sash as the latter is raised or lowered, but perinitting the screen to he disconnected from the sash when desired,

Manifestly l ha ve provided a device of the `class in question, which is capable of being quickly and easily itself to windows of different Widths, and embodies the desired features of simplicity in construction and durability.
While T. have shown and described what I consider the preferred embodiment of the invention l' desire to have it understood that I do not limit myself to this precise construction, as various changes may be resorted to when desired such of what claimed.
What is claimed is:
1. In combination with a. windowframe and sliding sash therefor, of a roller bracket secured to the frame, a spring operated roller journaled on said bracket, a screen wound about said roller and connected to and movable With said sash, and substantially U-shaped guide elements for the opposite longitudinal edges elements being pivotally bracket.
2. The combination with a window frame and sliding sa sh therefor, of a roller bracket secured thereto and including relativcly'adjustable sections, means for holding said sections lined relatively in adjusted position, a roller journaled. on said bracket, a screen wound about said roller connected to and movable with said sas and substantially U-shaped guiding elements for the opposite longitudinal edges of the screen, ano said elements being p ivotally, mounted on the respective sections of said bracket.
