Specification of Letters Patent, PatehtedJuly 1915,
Application filed February 18, 1914, Serial No. 819,574. Renewed June 18, 1915. Serial No. 34,959.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, GABOR HATVANY, a subject of the King of Hungary, residing at Nowell, in the county of Fayette and State of Pennsylvania, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Bottles, of
which the following is a specification, reference being had therein to the accompany- The neck at the top of the bottle is shaped to accommodate a metallicvclosure that can be sealed whereby it cannot be opened except by resorting to special implements.
. The bottle will be hereinafter specifically described and then claimed, and reference will now be had to the drawing, wherein Figure 1 is a vertical sectional view of the bottle, and Fig. 2 is a horizontal sectional view of the same.
In the drawing the reference numeral 1 denotes a bottle body having a breast 2 provided with a neck 3 and the upper edges of the neck are provided with an annular depending rim 4. Fitted in the neck 3 is a stopper 5 having an annular malleable cap 6 adapted to'have the edges 7 thereof bent under the rim 4: to prevent the cap and stopper from becoming accidentally displaced. A special implement, forming no Copies of this patent may be obtained for a part of. this invention, curing the cap The body of the bottle has a heavy or to the rim of the neck.
can be used for sethick bottom 8 provided with a conicalshaped recess 9 and within said recess is a depending neck 10 that is in communication with the interior of the bottle. The neck 10 is formed integral with the bottom 8 and said neck accommodates a stopper 11 having a cup-shaped gasket 12 made of rubber or other yieldable material.
After the bottle has been opened in the usual manner and completely emptied the stopper 11 can be removed and thrown away, thereby preventing the bottle from being used again'in itsoriginal form, as the use of another stopper in the neck can be readily detected.
What I claim is A bottle comprising a body "portion formed with a neck provided with an annular rim, a stopper arranged within said neck, a malleable cap carried by said stoper and having the. edges bent under the rim, the bottom of said bottle being formed of a conical-shaped recess and a neck integral with the bottom projecting into said recess and in communication with the inte rior of said bottle, and a stopperdetachably mounted in said last mentioned neck.
In testimony whereof I affix my signature in the presence of two witnesses.
