lVhen this improved pipe is in use, the products of combustion will pass down through the hollow stem 16 Iand wil-l enter a collector 8. In the event of saliva traveling downwardly through the smoke ducts 119 and 20, it will eventually he deposited `in the oolfle'otor through the funnel 12.

The liared end 17 of the hollow stem 16 will protect 'the inlet :opening of 'the tunnel 12 against particles that might have been deposited in the collector 8 in the event of the pipe receivingr a sudden jar. If a pipe of this improved construction is laid on its side, or if turned upside down, the funnel 12 will prevent any of the substances that might'be inside the collector from getting into the smoke ducts.

ln cleaning this improved pipe. the cover 10 is engaged' by placing the tips of the fingers in the notches 21 Whichare formed on the sides of the pipe at the base, and the cover is removed from the shell 9. This cover will contain the refuse from smoking and can readily he cleaned out. lf it is de.- sired to clean the smoke ducts 19 and 20 h inserting a pipe cleaner therein, it is pre arable to remove the hollow stem 16 which is done by engaging the flared end 17 and unscrewing said hollow stem. This will allow any refuse that is in the aforesaid ducts to be pushed into the countersunk hole 18 from which it will fall through the funnel 12. The removable cover 10, when set into the recessl 7 is fiush with the base 3 of the pipe so it will not give an unsightly appearance to said pipe.

What I claim is:

1. A pipe comprising a body portion, and a base portion, a bowl formed in said body portion, a moisture collector having a depending funnel located therein formed in 'said base portion, a removable cover for said seid base portion, a removable cover for said collector, and a hollow stem leadin lfromv said bowl to seid collector 'passing t rough seid funnel.` Y
