To all whom t may concern Be it known tliatl, HniNiiioH VVALDES, i subject of the Emperor of ustriadlungary, and residing at lVrschowitf/i, near Prague, Bohemia, Austrian Empire, have invented a certain new and useful Improvement in Feeding Mechanisms for Button-Sewing Machines. of which the following is a full, clear, and exactdescription.
The parts of spring pressed buttons are now'not usually sewn onto material formingr the closure, but are attached toa strip of material or tape. which is then sewn on sure.l
The button parts are attached by means 0f sewing machines of the known kind, the needle of which passes through the holes of the button piece and sews the same on to the strip.
Now the present invention consists of means for feeding the parts of the spring pressed button at regular intervals to the sewing machine, under the need-le and means for transporting the strip or tape to which the button parts are to be sewn, a certain eac-h button part.
