Having described I invention, claim:

5. The combination of an armature, a magnet having thereon opposed windings, an electrical circuit for transmitting current through one of said windings thereby attracting said armature, an electrical circuit for transmitting current through the other winding to thereby denergize the magnet and release the armature allowing it to move, a second electrical circuit through said last mentioned winding closed by the movement of the armature, and means for concurrently replacing the armature and breaking the circuit through the latter winding, substantially as specified.
6. The combination of an armature, a magnet. arranged to hold said armature in one position, said magnet having thereon opposed windings an electrical circuit including one of said windings, a second magnet adapted to operate the armature in the reverse direction, a circuit adapted, when closed, to transmit current through the winding of the second magnet and through the second winding of the first magnet, and a circuit for maintaining the flow of current throu 11 said windings after the breaking of the 05161 circuit mentioned, substantially as specified.
7. In an electro-magnetic device, the combination of an armature, a pair of electromagnets therefor adapted to operate the same in reverse directions one of said magnets havin thereon opposed windings, an electrical circuit through one of said windings for normally energizing the magnet, a second circuit including the winding of the second magnet and the other winding of the former magnet arranged to deenergize the former magnet, said circuit arranged to be closed by an external circuit-closer, and a third, circuit including the armature the winding of the second magnet and the second named winding of the first magnet to deenergize this magnet, substantially as specified.
8. The combination of an armature, a pair of electro-magnets adapted to operate the same in reverse directions, one of said magnets having thereon opposed windings, a circuit including one of said windings for holding the armature, a second circuit including the other of said windings to deenergize this magnet and including the winding of the second magnet, a closer for the second circuit, and means for resetting the armature and thereby simultaneously breaking the second circuit and reenergizing I the first magnet, substantially as specified.
9. The combination of a pair of opposed magnets, an armature movable therebetween, one of said magnets having opposed windings, a circuit including one of said windings, a second circuit including the other of said windings to deenergize the magnet and including the winding of the other magnet, an arm'projecting from said armature and arranged to close said second circuit, and means for simultaneously restoring the armature to normal position breaking the second circuit and reenergizing the first magnet, substantially as specified.
