IMPROVEMENT IN SPOOL-STANDS.
The Schedule referred to in these Letters Patent and making part of the same.
ment and construction of a spools'tand,.as hereinafter described, its object being to hold spools withdilerent kinds of thread, beside other small implements, such as pins, needles, scissors, zc.

,In the construction of my improved device- #a represents the base ofthe machine, wuhich is supplied with the requisite draw b, said base a being connected with the cushion e by means of the posts c c.
Upon one of said posts e are located and swing the shelves d d, which are supplied with the required wires or pins, upon which the spools of thread are' placed and operated.
The improved device being thus constructed is then ready for use. The operator swings out the required shelfcl, replenislies the busy needle with the kindand color of thread as sho desires. She then replaces the shelf' 1l. bac-'k into its .former position under the cushion e. Thus it will be seen the device affords a drawer, b, for scissors, thimble, and other small implements of ruse; thc. swinging shelves d 11, for different kinds of thread; and the cushion e, for needles and pins, with emery in its embrace, to lkeep the needles bright and clean from rust; thus furnishing one of the most desirable, serviceable, convenient, and useful inventions for this particular purpose, to wit, a spool-stand that can' be found, being both useful and ornamental.
What I claim as my invention, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-
A spool-stand and work-table implement-holder, consisting of frame o, drawer b, cushion e, and swingin g spool-supporting` shelves d (l, all arranged as shown.
