Be it; known that 1 Alonzo B. Soon, a citizen of the United States, and a resident of Fail-wont, in thecounty. of Marion and State of' lVest Virginia, have invented a new and; linpro-ved (ardCase Attaclnnent for -Pentgilsdof which the following afull, clear, and exact description.

'Myinvention more especially. relates to pencil attachmentsforholding an identifi: cation.card, ,lodge card 'or' the like, and ob jects of my invent-ion are to provide an at- ,t'acl'nnent' that may be applied to an ordinary pencil and held the'fcard rolled into small compass and concealed entirely within the case; to provide for thecontrol and .1n'a-' nlpulatlon-of the 'pencil'to pro ect and Withmore mrticnlarly explained in the specific draw the lead by operations independently of the case and holder, and to provide a form ofrard holder of-the indicated character, of neat and compact construction.
