Be it known that I, WALTER H. PHILLIP- above the son, citizen of the United States, residing at Hornell, in the county of Steuben and State of New York, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Adjustable Sawhorses, of which the following is a specification.
This invention relates to improvements in adjustable saw horses, and has for one of its objects to improve the construction and increase the efliciency and utility of a Patented Nov. 19, 1912. Serial No. 639,148.

In Fig. 3 the improved device is shown and arranged for use in connection with a conventional saw having a vertically adjustable table, and in Fig. 4 the improved device is shown employed in connection with a conventional railroad saw. The supporting frame of the saw shown in the illustration in Fig. 3 is indicated at 29, the saw 1. By this means a simply constructed and convenient support is provided for the work which is to be acted upon by the saw, and enables the operator toaccuratelv and conveniently support the material, and does not therefore require the services of an extra helper to hold the material at its outer end. In Fig. 4. the improved device is shown and arranged to employ the swinging frame 1920 with its roller 23. In this arrangement of the device the supporting frame of the saw is represented at 35, the sliding saw table at 36 and the saw at 37. The material to be acted upon is indicated at 38 and rests at one end upon the saw table and is supported at its other end by the roller 23, the latter being adjustable vertically through the action of the arms 16, so that the roller 23 is located in a position level with the upper face of the table 36. Thus the material 38 is moved toward the saw as fast as advance of said transverse member and maintained thereby spaced from the upper member.
