IMPROVEMENT IN FENCE.
The Schedule referred to in these Letters Patent and making part of the same To all whom it nut/y concern Be it known that I, EDWARD KIRK, of Sharon, in the county of Mercer and State of Pennsylvania, have invented a new and useful Improvement in Fences; and I do hereby declare that, the following is a full, clear, and exact description of the same, reference being had to the accompanying drawings making a part ot' this specfcatiomin which- Figure l is aside elevation, and

Ihisinvention relates to ay method ot' joining' the ends of two sections of fence when placed at an angle to each other` The invention consists in the combination ot'wedgeshaped blocks attached to the ends of the rails cornposing section No. 1, and bearing upon the sides of the rails composing section No. 2, with hooks attached tothe ends ot' the rails of section No. 2, and connecting them with the sides ot' the rails of section No. 1.
