Abstract

The invention relates to ferrous metallurgy. The devices for disposal of heat of waste fuel gases of a unit of blast furnace air heater 5 contains exhaust ducts 3, 4 for supply of hot waste gases to heat exchangers of heating gas fuel and air 2, which are represented by recuperative heat exchangers with cross-upwind scheme of heat carriers motion, comprising heat exchange elements connected in separate sections, particularly sections 13, 14 and 15. Each exhaust duct 3, 4 of supply of hot fuel gases to the heat exchangers 1, 2 is connected to the inlet to the heat exchanger elements of the section 14, which is installed from the side of supply of hot exhaust gases, and is equipped with additional exhaust duct 12, which bypasses the section 14, which is installed from the side of withdrawal of hot fuel gases, and also bypasses the intermediate heat exchanger section 15, and is connected to the inlet to the heat exchanger elements of the section 13, which is installed from the side of supply of cold fuel gas and air. The invention makes it possible to increase the temperature of fuel gases at the outlet of heat exchangers and reliably protect the steel heat exchanger elements from acid corrosion and to increase service life of heat exchangers.
