Abstract

This invention relates to an apparatus (1) to separate a flow of objects such as bags (2) made of foil into two flows or more comprising a conveyor (6), on which the objects (2) can come along a certain line in the direction of transportation (3), and at least one pusher (24) mounted with possibility of displacement of objects (2) on the conveyor (1) with respect to other objects (2) on it, and the pusher (24) can move in a direction lying at an angle of less than 90° to the direction of transportation (3), besides the pusher (24) mounted to be folded backwards in the prestressed in the position of movement by a spring element (33). The invention also concerns the method of separation of objects (2), such as bags made of foil, into two or more flows, which consists in the transportation of objects along a certain line in the direction of transportation (3) and in the movement of at least one of the objects ( 2) relative to other objects in the direction lying at an angle that is less than 90° to the direction of transportation (3), and the displacement is made by a pusher mounted to be folded backwards and prestressed by a spring element (33) in the position of displacement.
