Abstract

The invention relates to the field of ANGER ON other agricultural production, in particular to self-mangers for cattle, which is kept on exercising-feeding areas. The object of the invention is in lowering labour costs for serving a manger due to the transition from daily dispensing to weekly one and also lowering the adaptation stress while the calves are brought from the sucking period to self-dependent feeding with vegetable forages due to providing thereof with a complete feed as feeding concentrates, coarse forages and pastures. In the movable calf self-manger comprising a running frame with a rectangular platform, on which frames and a shed for covering animals and feeds against atmospheric precipitation are disposed, according to the invention, on the platform a manger for loose feeding concentrates (mixed feeds) and a manger for coarse forages are mounted. In doing so the frames are rigidly fixed on the platform on two sides opposite to each other as side walls, one of which is solid and equipped with a loading hatch, and the second one is made as a grated one. In doing so the rear wall is made as a gate, and on the side of the front open side of the self-manger a limiter arranged on the side walls at the height which equals to the height of calves of the six-month age.
